Wow, the sheer time and space Casemiro had to slot that home at a fecking corner, shocking defending

Real are worse than the likes of Stoke and Blackburn used to be. Do they score cruciual from set pieces in every single game?

2 assists for Ronaldo so far. He's being very generous and working for the team

I think that we are playing a good game although I have barely seen Bale. Anyone knows what happened to Kovacic? He was very important in the beginning of the season but in 2017 he is not playing. Against Napoli he wasn´t even at the bench.

Our defending is pathetic. As for kovacic, i'm wondering that too

What's up with these changes? I would have taken Bale off before Ronaldo. He hasn't done anything at all

Why Casemiro is being targeted by Bilbao players ?
Stuff happened in the first half with aduriz, then the father of all cnuts(raul garcia) started targeting him to get him sent off and he dived a couple times

Madrid are just so dangerous it's frightening. They look very lackadaisical and don't seem to be very intense but they have too many effective weapons. You can huff and puff but all it takes for them is one set piece and all your hardwork is undone.

Just saw Munain running straight into his arm seconds before final whistle and collapsed, what a dirty little cnut. Ramos looks the real boss, tapped him and pushed him away.

All defenders around two players and Casemiro can take a nap between receiving the ball and scoring an obvious goal.
I really like this Casemiro lad. He's the type of player that imho Mou is looking for also. He'd be great in midfield two or three, as he has the skill set.

Casemiro has probably been their most important player in 90% of big games Real has played, he's a one man brick wall at times.

Casemiro is what the wall of game of thrones wants to be when he grows up

...and he'll probably lose his spot once marcos llorente comes back. Fantastic talent

They'd still need to score goals. But I agreed that he's one of their most important player in big games. He's like Mascherano (DM) with more skill.

Nah, Mascherano is a more intelligent and skilled footballer. I gave Casemiro some praise for his visible improvement in his (long) passing earlier, but in general his build up play and press resistance is subpar for a team like Madrid. He's mainly a ball winning specialist whose task is to cover up the holes in front of the back four. Everything else is a bonus.

I don't see how Masch is more skilled, and also I don't see how Masch (as a DM) is more than a ball winning specialist either. But yeah Masch is a beast, which is why I use him as comparison.

Did someone just say Casemiro is better than Mascherano ??? FML.

Masch is a modern day DM maestro, anyone who saw him during that World Cup final run would know what that guy is all about.. I'd love to see Casemiro have that sort of influence over a football side. Solid talent but let's not go overboard at this moment in his career. I like the lad but too early in his career to say he's Masch level.

He did, in just last year Madrid's CL journey. He's one of Madrid best players, especially on the Final.

But agreed that i was a bit overboard with better than Masch claim. Casemiro still need to show it in longer time.

Osasuna losing after 5 minutes. I think it's the more useless promotion in several years.

I'd rather Casemiro than Masch all day every day, at least I know Casemiro can actually win an aerial duel and supplement the defence in the box.

On another note going into the game today Athletic were unbeaten in 13 home league matches, their best run since 1992 (14). Then of course we brought out Assistio Assistnaldo.

Bilbao go there next I think. Knowing us we will get beaten by the whipping boys for the rest of the league. Apart from us being a bit naughty sometimes we don't score enough goals. They have dropped too many points away from home against teams they really should beat, or have played them when they have been in form, then afterwards said teams have decided to go into a slump. Although that win away at Sociedad gave me hope that they might be able to climb higher.

They were saying that Osasuna finished in the last play off place and got themselves promoted through the playoff. They obviously came back up far too quickly.

I didn´t know that you like Athletic. A pity that the visit is now when they still have options to stay in Primera, if not I am sure that you would get the three points, hehe..
What do you think about the philosophy of Athletic, I mean, would you like to continue using only basque players or from Lezama or you would like to adapt to the times starting to buy some foreigners/non basques, like Real Sociedad?.
