Why aren't Atlético resting more players? Isn't the CL second leg next week?

Why aren't Atlético resting more players? Isn't the CL second leg next week?
3 goals down against Real Madrid so the odds are against them there.

They need 4 points to guarantee they go directly into the CL group stage, and the last match of the season is against Athletic. That said, I would imagine Simeone would have expected to see them secure enough by now that he could sub off Griezmann and a couple of others early. Not happening at the moment though.

Properly RM is the only club who can go full bench in an important league as this and his team still looks very strong.

Zidane made their bench very competitive, the players setting on their bench can easily go straight to any starting XI of English club.
