Strange when we consider a 2 month injury a good/fortunate outcome but shows you how serious it was. Hopefully he’s back as good as ever.

You may have missed my joke, but nevermind :). Not sure where you are based but 'on the job' in the UK has other meanings too, it was just a play on words.
We haven't heard anything yet on Licha, hopefully it's not as bad as thought.
It's ok. I was tired as feck and english is not my first language . No hard feelings ;)

I'm struggling to remember a season as injury-ridden as this one. It's getting satirical at this point.

8 weeks

Not sure what his level will be next season tbh. That would be basically more than a season out through injury.

He's the most important player in our team and not just defensively. He provides the same kind of control that Carrick used to provide when playing out of the back and reassures everyone around him. Even the other defenders perform better and look much more calm and composed.

Dalot for one looks like a different player with Martinez in the back line.

That’s why Ratcliffe getting rid of the medical department and bringing in his own. I know there not to blame entirely but something must be going wrong behind the scenes or during training sessions.

He'll be fine, he's not done anything too serious to it, he just needs time and to do the right exercises to build his strength back up. Even if our medical department aren't very good this should be a simple recovery.

Maddening that TH's only decent signing in the last 2 years has picked up another big injury coming back from his big injury and is going to spend nearly the entire season out. Feels like we are cursed this last XI years.

Anyone know what will be the long term effect of these last 2-3 injuries? Can he come back as mint next season or are these going to bother him for rest of his career now?

There’s no long term impact or effect on either of the injuries.

2 months ffs...

Winning and having him in the team is no coincidence.

He's just come back from a much more serious injury that was mishandled and had to be treated and rehabbed twice, and then immediately walked back into the team and raised our level as clearly one of our best players.

Why do you think an extra couple of months would break him? The amount of negativity for the sake of negativity on here sometimes...

Only option is to put him on ice until next season unfortunately. No point rushing him back.

Rushing him back, of course not, but if we have something to play for in two months time and he is ready, we would be stupid not to use him. Maybe we are still in with a shot for fifth, or an FA Cup final.

I know he hasn’t been long here but he’ll be a United legend when he’s done here. Absolute warrior, top player and a fan favourite

This is why he's so badly missed, all those passes through the lines, just fires it in there and forces the people in front of him to want the ball.

Rio talked about this in one of his YouTube video's, said it was his favourite pass to make. It's extremely effective to initiate build up.

None of this walking with the ball and taking 15 touches before passing it bullshit. One touch out of your feet and fizz it into midfield.

Aye, Roy Keane used to play that pass very often as well, zipped through the lines into feet and you better make sure you control it.

The thing that annoys me and you can see it in that clip, that stupid flick to the side or around the corner that loses the ball. I fecking hate that shite.

Here's a comp of Keane's passing, it's an ability that goes under the radar a bit, but it's crucial to getting between the lines when moving the ball forward. What you notice about Keane's passes is that the 2nd or 3rd pass after leads to a chance on many occasions.

Any Idea when he will be back in training? We'll need him for the run in.
