He really is excellent, been very influential in Pogba’s absences so far this season.

Top player. Whenever Pogba doesn't play he's the one to show up and do the playmaking from midfield as well as his actual job of breaking up the play.

He's completely controlling the game despite doing it in a walking tempo for pretty much the entire half. Hopefully we can afford to give him some rest soon. Our player of the season so far.

Rest him, Mourinho.

Against this lot with a 0-2 lead Herrera as DM will be sufficent with McTominay as b2b.

I like how he step up when Pogba isn't around, our most important player so far this season.

MOTM today. Ran the midfield, seemed a lot more content to let Herrera do the pressing and covering, and take a little more time to make the right pass and bring the ball forward.

Excellent performance but even he got drawn into the ugly mess towards the end.

Very good today. Was a bit safe at the start, but grew into the game and displayed some really nice passes. Had to step up and be the creative force without Pogba.

He needs a break.. What a signing he has been for us..

Did Jose say anything about his niggle? Has it healed or is he still carrying it?

He's brilliant, really needs a rest though. He was dead by the 75th min. Should be nowhere near the Bristol match.

He should be rested, shouldn't even travel with the team. He has played too many games, only Lukaku has played more mins than him so we shouldn't risk him at all.

On the game, he was very good. Some of the passes were superb, one curling pass he played to Young was just superb.

Brilliant, won us the game. Glad he'll have this week off (assume he will be rested against Bristol) to recharge for the Xmas schedule.

I thought he was poor tonight. Gave the ball away cheaply several times, including twice in injury time, when we could have run down the clock.

Mourinho: 'Scott McTominay still has a lot to learn. Was a kid that last year who was playing with kids, but no childish decisions at all. Some other guys have childish decisions make for many years.' #mufc

I think Mourinho is pointing out him of his silly pass to Lukaku

Poor. Worst game for us. I blame him for the first goal, what a stupid pass that started the counter. In the 90th minute has Mkhi totally free on the right and makes another braindead pass.

He is playing too much. Carrick and Fellaini's injuries are really hurting the team. Carrick would have played all cup games and to see out big leads.
