Got frustrated today, largely because every good thing he did was met with a yellow card foul. They were taking it in turns on him.

 I'll say it again. It isn't Italian football. Adapt or get owned. Demanding protection will make no sense.
we're not talking about italian. we're talking here. yes it make sense because player will get seriously injured if allowed to be the target of deliberate fouling.

If those rules apply overall Herrera will pick up much more red and yellow cards you know.

When you are pressed in two and three's its much more intelligent to pass the ball than to expect to beat all of them, someone will bring you down in this country.

Arguably the worst player on the pitch. Even worse than the last match, which was also woeful. Should have been subbed off, I think Ole really bottled it tonight.

I don't want to slate him because hes been really good since Ole came in, but he hasn't played well in a little while now.
If he wants to be known as one of the best in the world, he can't afford as many bad matches as he has unfortunately.

When he gets frustrated
That's an very important issue, and the reason hr gets frustrated is because he is too poor on basics and you get found out on basics in high profile games where opposition midfield is on its toes and have got quality.

Losing to Comeback Winning!
Captain is so poor today.

Is it the added pressure of armband? Not like his usual self.

Can't fault his effort, he tried hard but damn disappointing his passing today is a mess, broke down a lot of our attack.

I say Ole should tell him to focus on exploiting the #10/hole (which he finally did late in the dying mins when we're losing), instead of drifting too much to the left wide (so Martial and Shaw would have more spaces), and make more passes to Dalot. Heavy traffic on the left. And there's no presence in the box, so he should take charge of that.

To be the best midfielder in the world, you need to have a consistent low cap. Even at your worst, you should be hitting 7/10s during a poor run of form. Pogba fluctuates from 10/10 to 2/10 with no warning - frequently. The first half today was a throwback to the Mourinho era where he apparenty didn't give a feck. Created nothing, gave the ball away too often, couldn't find the right pass, didn't track back, looked like he didn't care. Worrying mentality.

He will have a blinder soon, and look invincible - but he really needs to start being more consistent.
This is why i have such a problem with him.
He puts in way too many of these performances for my liking

The creative burden on him is ridiculous at times and he tries to do too much to compensate for the short comings of other players. Against any decent midfield with technical qualities we struggle to control the game with Matic and Herrera. Herrera would be more than adequate if we had a better #6.

Wolves have good technical players like Moutinho, who was very impressive again along with Raul Jimenez who must be a joy to play with due to his fantastic technical qualities, link play and movement. Having a striker like him makes makes life alot easier for the Jota's and Moutinho's due to having passing options which Pogba didn't have..

He is one of our worst players since someone created that thread after three good games against shit opponents under Ole.

It's always on him to make something happen and Wolves just legged him up everytime he turned their midfield to run at their defence.

If he's kick or marked out of the game it's not too much to expect Martial, Lingard and Rashford to shoulder the burden.

Matic is poor too so that's not helping Pogba either

Looks like the bad Pogba is back. It was fun as it lasted, at least we got a good run from him for the first time since he's signed.

Also keep him away from the fecking arm band. I actually prefer Young to him, crazy but that's it. He's not captain mentality.

Should step up after the break if we want a top 4.
Like Rooney, some players aren't captain material. Can't just male someone captain because they are your most talented player

So it’s other people’s fault Pogba ain’t performing?

His performance was disappointing, but he wasn't alone in that - Lingard and Martial both looked less than match sharp, which didn't help, and Rashford had a poor game as well. The worrying thing regarding Pogba though is that this is now three below par performances in a row, and perhaps opposing teams have worked out how to limit his contribution (sometimes unfairly, but we're no angels in that regard either).

There aren't too many things I agreed with Mourinho on, but his suggestion that Pogba needs to simplify his game sometimes looks right on.

Pogba has been a contradiction at United. One moment he is without a shred of doubt a midfield genius at the Imiesta/Xavi levels and then the next moment, he makes Djemba Djemba's time here look like world class.

He was atrocious, not a lot of movement in front of him but still terrible all the same. So infuriating that he keeps trying dribbling when it's not on.

Agreed. The lack of movement and link-up play from Martial, Rashford and Lingard stifled him. He can find the through ball only if someone is making a run into space, and he can drive forward only if the defenders are being drawn out by the forwards' movement.

However, there were some simple things he messed up today. He did not make the right decisions, trying to take on the entire team instead of keeping it simple and passing it around. When it rains, it pours. When things don't go his way, he just keeps getting worse.

I'm not worried about him, he's got 14 goals and 12 assists this season from midfield. Phenomenal player on his day, needs to be more consistent, and needs better players around him. Having someone like Thiago next to him in midfield would help him immensely, because he carries the weight of creativity on his shoulders too often.
So spot on.

Pogba is great for a team with great players around, well that would be true for every player. But that is the truth, when the going gets tough, he will get frustrated.

He cannot play a simple game like playing a 1-2 with the players and create more time for himself for the next pass.

IMHO most overrated player in the team.

He's off to Madrid, and the Glazers really won't mind because the transfer fee will make up for the lack of CL money if the club fails to make the top four!

Yesterday, noticed him pointing backwards a lot. Shaw just ignored him for the last couple of attacks.

He's not very good in games with little space, i also think the captains armband is to much pressure on him.

Needs to keep it simple sometimes but we can't expect him to be the only creative outlet. We need another creative mids. Once Pogba becomes consistent he will be unstoppable

If we can get 80-100M for him (which we should in current market) we should snap someone’s hand off, never going to be the player we need, goes missing far to often

Pogba needs some support on the midfield, can't expect him to do everything all alone.
Exactly. And what annoys me is how quickly he gets slaughtered when he plays poorly.

Have we a better outfield player? Have some forgotten who has epitomised this transformation more than Pogba ? He scores, he creates, he takes control of the game...and every United player looks to him. All the time.

Aside from Rashford (who is super talent, but still v young...) Who else has stepped up since Paul Pogba joined the club? Plenty of Instagram, the rare flashy goal, and dancing by some... But no one steps up like him.

Paul Pogba needs help too. Remember, he also wants to be a better player.

Look at those around him.

Those who think Pogba is a class act just ask yourself would he get into the City team? Liverpool?
I don’t think he would, Klopp wouldn’t stand for his poor inconsistency and Pep certainly wouldn’t.
Let’s face facts, take off those rose tinted spectacles and just admit that our best performance of the season happened when he wasn’t on the pitch.
I’m sick of people saying but he won the World Cup, so what, Romero played in the final with Argentina, does that make him better than De Gea?
Hopefully he will go in the summer because we are going through a transition period off the pitch and hopefully one on the pitch in the summer. We can’t have a petulant player who only wants to play when it suits him.
