You just know what's going to happen.

All the collective Muppet 'celebratory activity' will cause seismic activity so severe that the Earth is ripped out of its orbit and into deep space.

We'll all be too dead to watch the Pogba confirmation press conference :( :( :(

Could still fail the medical and move to Madrid the following season. I'll only believe it when it's on the official site.

So BBC have confirmed the medical too, media has definitely been briefed. Juventus briefed them it seems?

Seeing as he has made everyone wait until he finished every bit of his trip to the states, I expect him to amble in for his medical in a week or two

Congrats on the 40k post ;)
Wow, 40k, thanks I guess!

So far they have achieved nothing

Come back this time next year and then maybe
Sure, no one knows, but I obviously meant in terms of excitement for the new season. Zlatan, Mkhitaryan, Bailly, Pogba and most of all Mourinho! We all know things don't always work out as planned, especially after the last three seasons.. But you can't blame a guy for being excited!

What an exciting signing this is, for many reasons. First and foremost, of course, are the sporting reasons. He's a world class 23 year old, with the potential to improve even further. He'll give our midfield something it's been lacking for far too long. Second, it's a real statement of intent. The club has spoken about its ability to execute this sort of deal, but until now has failed to do so. To bring in a player of Pogba's caliber, given that all top clubs would have also been interested in him, off the back of the three season's we've just had is remarkable. We've flexed our muscles financially, backing up the pulling power of the United brand and Mourinho. Third, it's a great story! The triumphant return of Paul
Pogba! It makes for great script. Fourth, and not to be diminished, are the marketing reasons. Pogba is a world star with great appeal to the club and its sponsors. He'll not only contribute to our on-field success, but to our economic success as well.

There have been, and will continue to be, plenty of critics regarding the transfer fee. Admittedly, it's huge. That said, it's clearly a calculated risk. I'm quite sure Madrid doesn't regret spending the money it did on Ronaldo and Bale. I don't believe that we'll regret spending the money on Pogba (not to mention the fact that he'll have sell-on value, in the event he moves on at some point). The courage the club is showing here can't be ignored. It would have been very easy for pride to have gotten in the way, considering the circumstances under which Pogba left four years ago. For me, that United didn't let that dissuade them from pursuing the deal is representative of real progress. The club has clearly moved beyond the Sir Alex era, and has hopefully recovered from the hangover from his departure. This deal shows that we're committed to attempting to return the club to the highest level of on-field success. Hats off to the owners, Woodward, Mourinho and everyone else involved for pulling this off!

Juventuz taking it like true Italian gentlemen...
if he goes back to United is merely for money. Else he'd go to either Barca or Real.
And he will in few years.

For me the Jose effect has brought these players. No way would we have signed Mkhitaryan and Pogba under Moyes and Van Gaal.

Jose had his targets and gave the names to Woodward months ago. He means business.

I still don't understand the minority of fans who didn't want Jose. What else could we have done? Stuck with LVG? Gone for an unknown quantity like Blanc? Definitely a discussion for a different thread but the point being, Jose and Woodward made this happen.

The club aren't fecking about - we want to become the best again and we aren't waiting around for it to happen.

If we can sign Ibrahimovic and Pogba when in the Europa League.. What the hell are we going to be capable of next season when (yes when) we are in the CL?!
