Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Poor Madrid, they are so used to having their transfer targets kick up a fuss for them and force a move while they can just waltz in and sign them. They really weren't used to the fact that Pogba actually chose us, and then stayed silent while letting his agent do all the work for him.

Chevrolet following Pogba, apparently:

Why would you have a medical in the US? That's really weird.
We have facilities at Carrington, we don't need to do medicals in Miami, Boston, Madrid or wherever... but alright, if we do that, I will be surprised.
We have fully competent doctors here in the US. I assume that's why they cost so much to see.

Once we've signed Pogba I'm thinking about gathering all articles from Marca and AS and putting them somewhere in a thread just as a reminder, like a poster on a wall if you will.

Someone needs to create a collage of their Twitter and tag them in it. Right from the time when they started to wank over Pogba > being confident that he wants to join Real > being angry that we are going to win this > Sissoko is better anyway.

Bah. Foiled again by meddling Madrid. Tricked us into missing out on the player who had a better Euros, because he ran around a bit and did a few dribbles.

I guess we'll have to settle for the meagre option who didn't get relegated or booed by his own fans for being utterly useless and disinterested. Curse our luck.

-0.1% of the posts are actual tweets with new information
-0.1% of the posts are animated gifs or photos from Pogba/Woody/etc
-39.8% of the posts are people that quote those tweets/gifs/photos with some variation of Pogbon, Pogoff, Di Marzio is god, Tacredi is ehcanul, Lol, feck, green smiley, sad face
I wouldnt have it any other way

Why the hell do they want Sissoko anyway? He isnt a high profile CDM if you're looking for one. They are well stocked in both the #10 and the #8 positions.

That would be incredible and paraded around the faces of people who worry whenever Madrid are mentioned.

Just the way someone did on Twitter with a few of Tancredi Palmeri's bullshit tweets.

I honestly thought that AS tweet was from SportWitness mocking the AS article

Personally I don't think it's that unrealistic. Pogba is on holiday until 6th of August and since all parties want to close the deal ASAP I think it could be true, tough.

IMO that also was the reason why Raiola went to Miami. He was expecting that the medical would take place earlier and wanted to support his client.

Not anymore, unfortunately. :D
I'll wait until everything is confirmed and then, as I promised, I will admit that I was wrong. :)

Haha fair enough mate, sorry for bringing it up but was reading the first pages last night saw your post and couldn't resist. ;)

Is it possible to delete other people's Tweet replies from your own tweet?

Because all of the tweets that people sent back to Tancredi calling him out as a fraud with screenshots of past BS claims have disappeared from his page.

They're not following Pogba, or if they were, they stopped following him very quickly
They had I checked it my self maybe they've unfollowed to calm us all down lol has anyone done Route 66 in a lambo?? How long does it take??

He'll probably have his medical in some hick town in Arkansas on route 66.

It will be probably be in Manchester, not in the USA.
Though like when Di Maria was signed by PSG, the medical can be in a foreign country.

I don't expect anything in 24, 28 or 36 hours.
Di Marzio cannot and should not be giving out timetables for world record transfers. He does not work for MUFC and is not included in the meetings (between Woodward, Juventus and the lawyers) - how on Earth would he know the exact timing of the Pogba signing/unveiling?

Because a source involved in those meetings has told him?

Medicals are done in other countries all of the time, just because we don't usually conduct them that way doesn't mean things won't change.

This is a new Utd, a new dawn.

If he's on holiday until August 6th I can't see this being completed until then. He'll come to Manchester for his medical.

There are equally good if not better medical facilities in the USA than in Manchester. For this level of transfer we could easily send our usual doctor over there to do it, rather than waiting for Pogba to get back from holiday.

It's a new day, and I'm feeling good

I hope he doesn't get pulled over while driving by the american police :nervous:

too soon?

We can bring him over on a private jet for a medical then send him back on holiday, or do the medical in the US. It doesn't really make any difference where it's done, and there's no reason to wait until he's back from holiday. It'll only be a few hours out of his day.

While I really want us to sign Pogba, part of me wants Saturday to come with no news.

The meltdown will be on another level.

That's just weird. Why any Utd fan wouldn't want Pogba signed ASAP is a bit strange IMO.

Di Marzio isn't saying when Pogba will officially sign/be unveiled he just said when the deal between United and Juventus could be finalized. It was days after Dortmund announced a deal was done for Mkhitaryan before he was announced by United.

No doubt this has already been discussed to death at some point in the previous 741 pages but how come he's allowed take a holiday so close to the next season? All our Euros crew are back in training, right? What's the craic with the other Juve players who competed in the summer tournament? Are they all on holiday too?

Yes, the announcement won't me made until the Pog can fly down to Manchester. We're still potentially 10 days away for that.

Because he had like a 11 month season. He started pre-season last August and played till this July. He needs at least three weeks. None of our French players are back. I think if they had gone out earlier, then he would have come back earlier.

The Juve manager gave him and Paddy an extra week or two off as they played in the final.

May have something to do with the fact he played most of the way to the final? Martial didn't feature much and Morgan didn't play at all.

This whole medical thing stinks. Our club needs to stop being so cheap and just pay for Pogba's return ticket from US to Manchester. Embarrassing. Woody out.

Martial and Morgan are.
