I’m still purplexed as to how the etihad constantly has blocks of empy seats all around the ground, even the lower sections and half way line. Just embarrassing really, a Premier league game against a decent side and they have so much empty seats.

I know this has been spoken about time and time again but is this basically rich arabs buying the seats and only going to big games so real City fans cant get the decent seats or just they don’t have enough fans in Manchester who want to go watch city at home?
Traffic of course, always the traffic.

Their shot stopping ability are equal, but Ederson is superior compared to DDG in other aspects of the game.

Not just a GK, but as an all-round footballer.
Rest of football community - De Gea is better
"El Pasillo" = 62 posts on Redcafe - Ederson is better

Not sure Laporte could have done much more there. Brilliant stuff by Vardy.

Sterile stadium in addition to artificially created team doesn’t bound well with atmosphere.

He’s shown himself to be poor in the air and to make very basic positioning errors. I think he would be exposed as a very average keeper if he was required to do the job most keepers do. He is great in Pep’s system mind.

He has a point, though. De Gea sucks with the ball in his feet.

No-one is in DDG's class but Ederson is a very good shot stopper himself. He's made some crucial saves for City to win them points. If you take away those crucial stops you end up with Bravo from last season. He was also good with the ball at his feet but didn't make actual saves when the team needed.
He is a good player, but in Dave's overall class, nope no chance of that, he is s second class goalkeeper, but then again, the only other goalkeeper who isn't second rate is Neuer, and maybe Oblak, those are just the high standards of the very best goalkeepers around, of which Ederson just doesn't qualify for.

You have to be joking, or maybe you're a City fan or a Brazilian.

Lukaku scored a similar goal against Derby in our 2-0 win.
It's hard to compare them, they are so different players. But as one of his biggest supporters on the Caf, you've got to admit it's a world of difference facing Derby and City. Rom went missing big time against City (as others did, for the record).

Is it weird that the half time entertainment was a man hitting another man in the arse/balls with a stick?

I hope you never get promoted, as that’s a terrible post, regardless of who you support.

I’ve never thought of the “ Artificial team” reason before, but it surley is something to think about isnt it? Does City have any local lads around the first team or squad?

He doesn't suck, and no, playing with your feet is not every other part of being a keeper other than shot stopping.
Nah, he's awful. And that aspect of the game is more relevant than ever in modern football.

Its a world of difference indeed, but lets not forget Lukaku scored back to back goals against City for Everton (1-1 at the Etihad in October 2016 and 4-0 win at Goodison January 2017). The goal at the Etihad was a brilliant individual finish. He's capable of it
