If that wasn’t the purpose of your post then what were you implying? Other than just deflecting from the main issue at hand? You’re talking about a tiny minority and acting as if they represent the whole protest.

Yes i was just asking, because all the focus was on one ethnic group. I was curious as to why other races were not included, who have faced racism too.

It was an honest question and you've gone a rant.

Equality means EVERYONE treated in a manner that makes the playing field level and allows access to the same opportunities for all.

The only negative I can think of really about the graffiti is that shitheads like Johnson and Patel are focusing on them instead of what the protests are about. These people are cnuts, plain and simple. If it wasn't the graffiti then it would have been something else that they would take umbrage to.

They don't like protests in general. Protests mean people are thinking for themselves, and that scares the shit out of this lot.
 
Those two are acting outraged because:
a) It takes the pressure off them, via distraction, about speaking on George Floyd/BLM.
b) They fear revolution-creep.
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in America (or only some states?) you can't vote if you have a criminal record?

Is it likely that come November these protests and a whole lot of fake charges etc are going to stop a big chunk of people voting that likely would have voted against Trump?

It’s “only” felony charges that carry that disenfranchisement issue, but yes it’s certainly a problem.

Two of my best friends are black. One since childhood and one through football since my late teens. Yes I have experienced racism. Not personally but against my friends.

I will not tolerate it In any shape or form. I’ve always had my friends backs and it’s got me into a lot of trouble in the past.

Racism is a disease that needs eradicating. But rioting is not the cure.

I meant outside of that quote I hadn’t mentioned China.

I wasn’t meaning to offend by the way, but I saw videos where black people were refused service in China recently. Flat out refused.

If that was happening in the UK I’d agree that we were a racist country but it wouldn’t be tolerated here.

On the whole no, I don’t think it’s a racist country. Maybe 30-40 years ago Yes, but times have changed. The majority are not racist.

There is still a lot of work to do and hopefully this is the start of that.

I live by the principle that a persons actions are what defines them, not the colour of their skin or nationality.

Let’s just all stop being cnuts to each other. If we can do that the world will be a better place.

Surely BLM is all-encompassing and looking to change things for everybody who suffers racism. I don't think Asians would be turned away from a protest march.

Yes rioting isn’t the cure, and only a minority we’re rioting. The majority are clearly protesting which is different.

Sounds fantastic in theory but in the real world you might be the best person ever with the nicest of actions, and yet, if the system is rigged against you because of the colour of your skin or your nationality, you will most certainly suffer. And that most certainly is still the case in the UK, sure it's not as bad as 30-40 years ago but that's really not a suitable justification.

The EDL have popped up in Durham to defend the statue of the Marquess of Londonderry in the Marketplace. I will never understand what is making working class white fellas from County Durham give up their time to stand guard over a statue of a man whose main claims to fame are opposing raising the minimum age at which children could be employed in mines on the grounds that it would be unprofitable to make the tunnels tall enough to accommodate taller children and giving £30 to the Irish Famine relief at the same time as spending £150,000 renovating his Irish country house.

Racism exist everywhere, if you're gonna highlight a small incident about a restaurant owner being a dick yet you turn a blind eye on half Europe protesting on George Floyd, Breona Taylor, Ahmaud Auberry and even brutalized the protester even further on live telly. But let's not talk about them, let's talk about China?
