Thanks. Coin flip odds would be fecking scary. That's when in a ventilator. ICU is used for many other reasons.
No just the ventilator

Coin toss, apparently. But there must be other factors which increase/decrease the chance.Assuming he is, then what percentage make it out?
Why couldn't it be the Orange idiot, why?

Sure I read she is symptomatic now too!Worrying time for his pregnant girlfriend, that said i'm sure he'll be in the best possible care there.
On the other hand he's basically the person in the country with the highest priority. He'll probably get taken into ICU and cared for way better/more individually than regular people who made up the 50% death rate.https://www.theguardian.com/society...ve-care-uk-patients-50-per-cent-survival-rate
He’s in higher risk categories too.
Not all of them do, many countries face the same issues with masks and gloves.Great, so we're putting them in harms way. What are we gonna do when they get sick?
From what I've seen in other countries, the police are wearing masks and gloves
I think Anthony Eden was unwell and went on holiday to Jamaica to recover for a while but can’t think of anything else aside from Churchill.Churchill had a stroke in ‘53 that doctors and those close kept secret. Can’t think of any other examples.
From having worked as a respiratory physio and seen people moving to and from ICU, you don’t take someone to ICU as a precaution. You do it expecting a condition to worsen, fast, in order to have all of the necessary equipment in place ready to go.Tweet

He hasn’t according to latest reports.Like someone said, we first need to know is he's also been put on ventilator.
Think Blair had a brief stay in a hospital, just remember all the jokes about Prescott being PM for a day and no-one telling him.I think Anthony Eden was unwell and went on holiday to Jamaica to recover for a while but can’t think of anything else aside from Churchill.
Nope. I have desired Tump's death for a long time. Never in any moment I felt the same for Boris. Bolsonaro is probably the only world leader I put on the level of Trump (with the caveat that there are a lot of leaders I don't know, specially in Africa and Asia).if it ever does happen, youll have people sympathizing for him too, its human nature to forget your opinions on people when they actually might die.
He said it at one of the first press briefings.Genuine question... is the story of Boris shaking hands with Coronavirus patients a few weeks ago actually true?
How many minutes, give or take, are you saving by moving someone to an ICU vs being in a regular hospital room? From having worked as a respiratory physio and seen people moving to and from ICU, you don’t take someone to ICU as a precaution. Some of the replies in that are sickening. It really doesn't matter if you think he's a cnut or not. The guy is a human being with a baby on the way ffs.Tweet

Boris in intensive care.
Ok lying might be the wrong word but it seems like they are holding information from the public.Who's lied about what now?

Her tone is so smarmy, the copper did well not to be agitated by her. He handled her rather well. I couldn't have stayed that composed speaking to her. I was feeling angry just watching it.Some people are just thick thinking they are clever, GO HOME.
Breath taking patience from those police there, really hats off! Some people are just thick thinking they are clever, GO HOME.
It's an antiviral drug initially created to treat Ebola that's being tested for COVID-19.what is Remdesivir?

Yep agree, think they are trying to keep public calm but situation must be serious. From having worked as a respiratory physio and seen people moving to and from ICU, you don’t take someone to ICU as a precaution. You do it expecting a condition to worsen, fast, in order to have all of the necessary equipment in place ready to go.
Unbelievable. I remember him saying that he was still shaking hands but I didn't know if the handshakes with Coronavirus patients was actually true.He said it at one of the first press briefings.
Do we think he actually was though, or more a case of Boris just being Boris? Wouldn't surprise me if it was the latter.Tweet

It’s all about maintaining oxygenation and supply to the brain. Depending on the distance between wards it could be anything between 2-3 or even up to 10minutes (depending on organisation/ need to traverse floors etc). In this time a massive amount of damage could happen. How many minutes, give or take, are you saving by moving someone to an ICU vs being in a regular hospital room?
As much as I dislike the orange one, I'd rather it be the Pooh. Why couldn't it be the Orange idiot, why?
There has to be, but this is to be found out further down the line, right now I just pray that Boris is on the right side of whatever they are.Coin toss, apparently. But there must be other factors which increase/decrease the chance.
The responses to that tweet are just vile. Why can’t people seperate their politician opinions even when a man is potentially dying.Tweet
