If there wasn't a football involved, you'd swear he was trying to jump into David Luiz's pocket.

Not only did he embarrass himself with his individual performance today but also with that disgraceful tackle. Should be banned for 10 games given his previous history with Luiz.

He & Silva are two of the dirtiest players in the League but it goes unnoticed for some reason.

that's a minimum of 6 games banned all season, plus the 3 month injury he'll pick up. City really need another striker they can rely on.

If Luiz had been standing on the leg it would have destroyed him.

10 game ban would not be out of order.

Absolute cnut. Disgraceful challenge.

Also, when Cahill scored the own goal today, he tapped him on the head, which I felt was very patronising.

Got what he deserved in the end.

There's three match ban tackles and then there's this. The duration of the ban should be proportional to the severity of the tackle and this one was exceptionally violent. He should get 10 or more in my opinion.

The title keeps getting better and better.

Should be atleast a 6 game ban- as bad as Dembele's eye gouge, but will get away with 4

People calling for 6 game ban, what makes you say that?. Has there been any other similar incidents in the past where a player got suspended for a bad tackle??

3 games max. why would it be 6 games?

4 game ban, misses Leicester (A), Watford and Arsenal (H) and Hull (A).

Idiotic from Aguero. One of those players who isn't often dirty, but when he is, is a total cnut.

In terms of important games, if it's a three game ban and he misses Leicester away and Arsenal at home. Five game ban and he also misses the game away to Liverpool.

Joey Barton got 6 for a tackle I think. Ben Thatcher similar for an elbow.

Considering people have got 6 for spitting he should be looking at at least that I would say.

That was almost as enjoyable as Leicester doing City at the Yetihad last season.

 Poop just defended the tackle in his interview. 'Both players went in strong'.

Must have been wearing Wenger's glasses.

Three games just doesn't sit well with me. This one is clearly worse than the average tackle that results in three games, so logic dictates that the punishment would be worse as well. Logic and the FA rarely go hand in hand though, so who knows. It was just so vicious it's closer to assault than a tackle.

 at the new thread title.

That was mental though. As others have mentioned, he's not a dirty player, but when he loses it it's full on red-mist. Massively let his side down. What was his first red for?
