Battle of the two worst PM's. Sophie had no idea what she was doing but Akeem fecks me off with his lack of backbone.

Is this the worst batch in recent memory?

I much preferred when he picked them to work for him. I wouldn't hire any of them.

Sophie’s elimination was coming the moment they lost that task. No leadership whatsoever. Trying to lay the blame on the branding team for the loss when it was evident that it wasn’t. If that is her interior design skills then she better not apply to become an interior designer herself!

Agree that Akeem is coasting his way through this process. Constantly swayed by others and just doesn’t have any sort of assertiveness or balls to stamp his authority.

Overall this has to be the worst set of contestants that I can remember. It’s been 7 weeks and there isn’t a real proper standout candidate or two out of this lot. I’m struggling to pick a winner.

Akeem's flipflopping. Fecking hell.

They really are a useless bunch. The two PMs were utter shit and Sophie was 100% the right person to go. Her vision/idea was all over the place. Her team did well to stick with it (her idea)/her for so long. In previous years, they would have torn strips off her. Maybe she needed that. The idea was shit and was destined to fail.

The Show producers are doing their job well, seeing some of the responses elicited here tonight.

Strong reaction is what they're after, not a competent bunch of candidates.

Also, has anyone else noticed how the cab scenes are all fake now with an obvious green screen? Its like the effects they used to have in the old Hollywood movies.

Akeem: I feel really strongly about this concept.

Some other fecker: I think we should do this.

Akeem: ehm yeah ehm let's go with that.

A few moments later.

Akeem: I'm 100% going to pitch to the client.

Some other fecker: but ...

Akeem: Yeah you're right. I'll stay here. You lot go and see the client.

Sophie was the most annoying person on there. She's constantly lying about who said what and other people's contributions.

Yep. I've been working through some of the older seasons as I had a big gap in watching and it's a theme throughout the different series.
They're probably very good at what they specialise in though.

Akeem: Lord Sugar said I need to be stronger and more decisive and I'm doing that.

Is it fake, or is it just fixed cameras? I'm sure it just used to be a bloke free-hand with a camera which made it feel real..

Is Akeem’s flip flopping some kind of mental disorder? It’s bizarre how easily he is convinced to change his mind.

It seems like it’s a race to be the least shit rather than the best candidate, because honestly they are all awful.

Brittany needs to chill on the sustainability angle, or at least do it right.

This is one of the worst series so far in terms of tasks and decent candidates. I think they are all shit.

The show is that heavily edited and pandering to the reality tv crowd that it's lost alot of its authenticity.

The amount of times you see contenders discussing a topic and then it cuts to their shocking individual facial expressions, which were most likely filmed at another time, is becoming tedious.

Also Sugar jokes and everyone laughing is nauseating.

Having said that, I am still watching it. Harpreet seems the strongest at this stage however I think Akshay is very good too but has been unfortunate in the team selections.

The Benny Hill music and the edit feature where they cut to the scribing mentors is just dreadful.
They make the candidate pool look thicker than they are and they are doing a fairly good job on their own.
All of them are just parrots for MBA language trying to out do each other with fancy language and business acumen. The show is cringe 101. The editing ramps it up. All very Americanised

How the feck has Stephanie survived that??

They were the cause of the complaints because they got lost in the museum, rushed them through one activity, so turned up too early to lunch, which left them sat around needlessly for 40 minutes, hence why lunch wasn't ready

At least fire her and the wet blanket Nick. She had to go...

This is why I hate it being based on who's business plan he likes best, because he doesn't pick the best candidates

Aaron could be a dark horse

Probably been mentioned already but they've been using that shopping channel task promo in their opening segment for most of the series, which featured Aaron, Harpreet and Brittany. Thought I'd missed something, but with the reveal that task is coming next week, its pretty sloppy stuff as it's made it obvious some candidates had made it through deeper in the show.

The shopping channel task has the potential to be a car crash

I try not to watch the intro, as like someone said it gives it away who stays

Definitely thought we were in for a double firing, still can't believe Stephanie got away with that, she was the failure of the task

Off to see what her business plan is...

Neither can I especially when he told all 4 of them to come back in. It just felt like a double firing was going to happen.

Don’t know how Stephanie survived that.
No idea, the failure on the task was clearly on the other side of the team. Not that I liked the serial killer.

My two favourite quotes from this show are:
"I do this for a living"
and
"I'm great at pitching"

You know things are about to go very badly if either of those are muttered.

Glad to see Akshay will be PM next week. He’s not been great but I don’t think he’s been given a fair shake either.

Every PM seems to give him the shittest task in the team every week and then expect him to make some major contribution.

Let’s see if he has something about him.

Yeh exactly that. The girls seem to hate him and put him on the shittest task and then try to tactically get him fired. He has disappointed me though, I thought he’d have gone for it more rather than being in the background so much.

So they’d have lost it even if there were no refunds and the PM who headed that negotiation survived?
They literally fired the dishwasher instead. This show doesn’t make any sense at all

In fairness, the guy they fired does very little every task. He was warned of it last week and I assumed he would become PM to show he has some ability but he just sat quietly again.

It’s such a massive fix. How did the other client not demand any refunds from a VR event that wasn’t VR.
Probably let it slide because Aaron and Brittany did such a good job with the rest of the tour.
I thought the same thing. They should have been hung on that non-VR point. Can't believe they got away with that! Aaron and Brittany carried them during that task. They won it for them.

Aaron has quietly made it far without really drawing too much negative attention to himself. He made quite a few mistakes in the first two or three weeks, but he's been solid since.

Thought it was slightly harsh that Nick was the only one to go yesterday. The fault was mostly at Stephanie's door. Multiple mistakes. Can't quite believe she got away with that...

Yeah, that was shit. Even if there were refunds, that team would still have won by a distance though.

Not surprised at all that Nick went after last week. Did feel like it was heading for a double firing but even if it was, Stephanie would likely have survived with Lord Sugar mentioning how many times Akshay and Catherine were in the boardroom.

Like Nick being fired for being poor in previous weeks, I think Stephanie survived on the basis she’s done quite well up to now.

I can agree with that. She's been one of the better ones until now. However, Francesca was in a similar situation a few weeks ago and she went, despite being pretty good until that point.

Harpreet's micro-managing was annoying as feck. She's far too intense and would be a nightmare to work with. She's the type that would talk and talk and talk, and then complain that nobody else is contributing, despite them not being given a chance, too. A royal pain in the arse.

You’re right, I forgot about Francesca. I was surprised she got the sack when she did even though it was the right call for that particular week.

Maybe people are right about their business plans causing bias in the decisions.

Harpreet product choices are terrible, especially the inflatable flamingo. She should go if they lose.

Stephanie and Katherine were so rude to the seller, hence losing out on the ring, they will get lucky though as their other products will sell really well as they're not tack (flamingo is)

Who buys a 3k ring over a shopping channel? If I was spending that I'd want to see it in person

Stephanie needs to go, her being rude to the seller of the ring lost them having it as an item to sell. She was rude to the beer company man last week as well.

She should have gone last week

Harpreet is a bully I'd hate to work for her

Fire the lot of them
