Yep. I've been working through some of the older seasons as I had a big gap in watching and it's a theme throughout the different series.Strong reaction is what they're after, not a competent bunch of candidates.
*Akeem flip-flops between decisions*Akeem: I feel really strongly about this concept.
Some other fecker: I think we should do this.
Akeem: ehm yeah ehm let's go with that.
A few moments later.
Akeem: I'm 100% going to pitch to the client.
Some other fecker: but ...
Akeem: Yeah you're right. I'll stay here. You lot go and see the client.
Is it fake, or is it just fixed cameras? I'm sure it just used to be a bloke free-hand with a camera which made it feel real..The Show producers are doing their job well, seeing some of the responses elicited here tonight.
Strong reaction is what they're after, not a competent bunch of candidates.
Also, has anyone else noticed how the cab scenes are all fake now with an obvious green screen? Its like the effects they used to have in the old Hollywood movies.
The Benny Hill music and the edit feature where they cut to the scribing mentors is just dreadful. The show is that heavily edited and pandering to the reality tv crowd that it's lost alot of its authenticity.
The amount of times you see contenders discussing a topic and then it cuts to their shocking individual facial expressions, which were most likely filmed at another time, is becoming tedious.
Also Sugar jokes and everyone laughing is nauseating.
Having said that, I am still watching it. Harpreet seems the strongest at this stage however I think Akshay is very good too but has been unfortunate in the team selections.
In this case its all of them*Akeem flip-flops between decisions*
Akeem: Lord Sugar said I need to be stronger and more decisive and I'm doing that.
There's always at least 1 person who you have no idea how they get so far in the show.
There's been a few seasons like.In this case its all of them
Man I wish Claude was here to roast these idiotsThere's been a few seasons like.
Some absolutely toxic people who have made it to the interview stages as well.
Yeah, will definitely miss him during the interviews. He's had some classic moments.Man I wish Claude was here to roast these idiots
Neither can I especially when he told all 4 of them to come back in. It just felt like a double firing was going to happen. Can't believe he only fired 1.
No idea, the failure on the task was clearly on the other side of the team. Not that I liked the serial killer.Neither can I especially when he told all 4 of them to come back in. It just felt like a double firing was going to happen.
Don’t know how Stephanie survived that.
Probably let it slide because Aaron and Brittany did such a good job with the rest of the tour. It’s such a massive fix. How did the other client not demand any refunds from a VR event that wasn’t VR.
Yeh exactly that. The girls seem to hate him and put him on the shittest task and then try to tactically get him fired. He has disappointed me though, I thought he’d have gone for it more rather than being in the background so much.Glad to see Akshay will be PM next week. He’s not been great but I don’t think he’s been given a fair shake either.
Every PM seems to give him the shittest task in the team every week and then expect him to make some major contribution.
Let’s see if he has something about him.
It’s such a massive fix. How did the other client not demand any refunds from a VR event that wasn’t VR.
I thought the same thing. They should have been hung on that non-VR point. Can't believe they got away with that! Aaron and Brittany carried them during that task. They won it for them.Probably let it slide because Aaron and Brittany did such a good job with the rest of the tour.
Yeah, that was shit. Even if there were refunds, that team would still have won by a distance though. It’s such a massive fix. How did the other client not demand any refunds from a VR event that wasn’t VR.
Like Nick being fired for being poor in previous weeks, I think Stephanie survived on the basis she’s done quite well up to now.I thought the same thing. They should have been hung on that non-VR point. Can't believe they got away with that! Aaron and Brittany carried them during that task. They won it for them.
Aaron has quietly made it far without really drawing too much negative attention to himself. He made quite a few mistakes in the first two or three weeks, but he's been solid since.
Thought it was slightly harsh that Nick was the only one to go yesterday. The fault was mostly at Stephanie's door. Multiple mistakes. Can't quite believe she got away with that...
I can agree with that. She's been one of the better ones until now. However, Francesca was in a similar situation a few weeks ago and she went, despite being pretty good until that point.Like Nick being fired for being poor in previous weeks, I think Stephanie survived on the basis she’s done quite well up to now.
You’re right, I forgot about Francesca. I was surprised she got the sack when she did even though it was the right call for that particular week.I can agree with that. She's been one of the better ones until now. However, Francesca was in a similar situation a few weeks ago and she went, despite being pretty good until that point.
Harpreet's micro-managing was annoying as feck. She's far too intense and would be a nightmare to work with. She's the type that would talk and talk and talk, and then complain that nobody else is contributing, despite them not being given a chance, too. A royal pain in the arse.
