In fairness, he tried to cnut his way to Liverpool, which is about the same level anyway.Dempsey should have realized that Fulham was his level and stayed there.

Fair point. In fairness, he tried to cnut his way to Liverpool, which is about the same level anyway.

Yeah but Spurs were always going to be exploring upgrades, whereas, like you said, he could've struck up a great partnership with Berbatov at Fulham and cemented his status there. Maybe not as glamourous as he would've hoped, but certainly better than playing in the MLS.12 goals from midfield in his first season at Spurs was hardly a bad haul. He was good enough for what he was there. He could've gone back to Fulham and been great with Berbatov.
Samsonite! I was way off.I doubt he'd leave Europe at age 30 but I would presume he'd go to Houston or FC Dallas, if he desires a return near home. Or could end up on a big market club like LAG or NYRB.
I hope not. Up here in the North West, the summers are fantastic times to go for games. Pretty sure the NFL/NBA would eat into MLS' audience during Winter and Early Spring. I think the current schedule is perfect.
I went to school in Dallas. Trust me when I say, watching it in the cold rain is much worse. You should try watching a game in Dallas in July.
Montreal were worse against Houston.Surprised how dirty Kansas played last night. Almost Stoke-like.
That tussle at the end was ridiculous.Montreal were worse against Houston.
They tend to do that when the game isn't going their way.Surprised how dirty Kansas played last night. Almost Stoke-like.
Di Vaio scratching Ashe's face twice was nasty. I kept thinking, "Is Di Vaio a racist or was there something that had occurred off camera between them? Or perhaps just an isolated incident."That tussle at the end was ridiculous.
New England, that is.They tend to do that when the game isn't going their way.
Hopefully they can win at Sporting Park on Wednesday.
