I thought he was really good today. Out of the team for months and then put in a very solid performance. Quality player

Probably his best game for us.

The attitude and physicality is there. Just needs to tidy up his game a little.

Great attitude, just wish he had Shaw's technical ability. Still with that attitude he will delivery several good performances.

I like him but I don't like how he panics when under pressure. That phase of play where he made 3 terrible passes with his back to goal were worrying.

You can see there is quality there and hopefully he can develop his game.

Looking over my shoulder.

Agree. It’s happened before a few times as well.

Also, why doesn’t he use his speed more? He’s obviously very fast as he looked comfortable ina folt race against Bailey, but he never uses it to get free from players, advance with the ball or make those blistering overlaps

Great today.

He did something United full backs don't... he ran beyond the winger! Ground breaking stuff, and then he got a cross in!

I thought he was really good and some of those passes he made whilst being tucked in were absolutely superb and sliced Villa wide open. The stats below from the game back that up as well and clearly show that he was very good at progressing play, better than everyone on the pitch.

Did well tonight I thought. Progressive pass chart above confirms my thoughts. Did good things on the ball.

Yeah, I thought he played really well, too. He also made 7 tackles. 3 of them in the opposition half when we were counter pressing. A lot of our play was down the left and he played a big part in it.

Thought he was fantastic today. Won the ball back multiple times, and played some lovely passes.

He’s such a likeable lad too. His enthusiasm is contagious.

Very good performance, was active throughout and was involved in everything we played up front. Really quality back up for left back spot.

Defensively he wasn't that great and gave away one or two balls cheaply, but it was obvious he had more forward role today and he did a lot in attack. Some of his passing/crossing has been Arnold esque, the way he kept finding Rashford over the defence was great to watch.

Did alright, decent performance.

Caught woefully out of position for their second goal though.

Not a right back, played like he wasn't a right back. We should get a right back.

Was poor all game but had zero protection. Obviously no one is saying he's the answer to RB back up, just ties us over to January.

Was ripped to shreds. Elanga who was supposed to help him hung him out to dry.

Struggled generally, but had a few good tackles and moments as well. I think that's about all you can ask from a lad still new to the level playing on the wrong side.

We need an actual backup right back of course, now that AWB is pretty clearly done. I'm just thankful Dalot is coming good or we'd be beyond fecked in that position.

He’s a young left back being played out of position as a right back in a top league. I’d give him a bit of a break and personally I’m questioning why the heck we’re playing him over a £50m right back who we bought in a specialised position.

thought he did ok to be honest given he was most likely targeted by Fulham

Had a difficult game but recovered a bit in the second half. Young player who is still adapting to English football and has to play out of position. Cant really expect him to have a fantastic game in that situation i think.

He is a left back, played as right back today and van Gaal used him as a left sided CB in a back 3 this season. He is playing everywhere this season

We need to get AWB fit for the 2nd half of the season or sign a new right-back.

His chaotic/messy style will always ensure that'll pull off a lovely sliding tackle or three but you don't want chaos in defence. It was more pronounced today with him out of his position.

Harsh to critisize him too much. He is a pure left back and solid at that but not a right back at all. Says a lot about AWB that he can't even get past Malacia as a right back.

I like him, he has a great attitude but he’s no better on the ball than Wan Bissaka.

A disaster today. We need a new RB desperately, he cannot play there at all.

I think he will improve but I don't think it would make any difference at all if he played on the left. We have seen that kind of shady performances on the left side before. He is not just that level yet.

No he's wasn't. Considering he's a young left footed LB playing RB he stuck at it and made some very good defensive interceptions. Did better than expected
