Yep, it's probably the worst thing they do. Well, either that or slavery.
Chavi's worse, IMO. Firstly, its a shit pronunciation of the name and secondly, it reminds me of chavs and nobody wants to be reminded of chavs.

What the feck is up with Pique?
Not much, he's still an excellent defender. If Barca took possession football to a whole new level in the previous seasons this RM side is playing counter attacking football in a way that can be described as magnificent, at least. I pretty much doubt if there are other teams, besides Bayern Munich and Chelsea right now, that can keep up with such pace on both sides of the pitch and be competitive.

Pique has made many of interceptions and clearances today in order to help his teammates stay up on the pitch. The way RM are playing on the counter and the quality they possess up front can lead any defense into doing mistakes. Imo both defensive lines have been quite good today. It's Barca's midfield that can't press like they used to and this puts their defense under a lot of pressure.

I think Ronaldo relaxed too much after he scored and got that 9 consecutive games scoring record

Been very impressed with Modric and Kroos' defensive contributions for the past two games.

Ancelotti really deserve credit for making it work despite not playing a single defensive midfielder.

I miss those days when we played like Real Madrid - on the counter. Now it's just boring cross, cross, cross football.

Carvajal does a lot of pointing at the ball after he's kicked someone.

Why do Barça keep this failed style? One missed pass and its a lethal counter attack

They should've just played on the break from 1-0 on

I thought it's been poor tonight, he's overhit a few; notably the one where they had Messi on the overlap and he forced him too wide.
Yeah, that's what I meant. That one for Messi and other one pretty similar for Alves were simple passes which would put them in good positions, but he overhit them for some reason and made them chase the ball. Now Alves just keeps ignoring him because of that.

Brilliant second half from Madrid. Quick, incisive, ruthless. Barca, slow, pedestrian, predictable. Also a top class coach against a coach who only has the job because he's an ex player.

Thought it'd be a lot more even than that.

Real Madrid were brilliant, Barcelona were not. They outclassed them, 3-1 flatters Barça if anything.

I honestly think Xavi and Iniesta are below average footballers in big games nowadays. I honestly, 100% believe Barça would've won with Gibson and Cattermole in the center today, just playing on the break with Messi and Neymar.

Luis Enrique got a real lesson tonight from Ancelotti. Deserved victory by Real. Terrible on the last pass or else Barcelona would get a real trashing tonight.

Disappointed with Barcelona tonight. Even when they picked off Real's counter attack or were gifted posession back they just went and plodded up pitch and couldn't create anything, let alone get shots off at Casillas' goal.

Made Real's defence look untouchable.

Don't want to get personal but didn't you guys try something similar against Germany and lose 7-1?

Where's the mugs that were telling me Madrid weren't a better side?

Also amusing to see my point proven with xavi and iniesta too. Though iniesta did do well, to set up Benzema's goal

Barca have been well below par, the attackers are adding nothing to the defending of the team. Don't think they are gonna be winning much this season.
