Watson has been dropped.
That is great news.

Ya, was expected. So many all rounders in Australia! Only downside is, genuine batsmen end at 4. Against a good bowling attack, you need at least one more specialized batsman. Maxwell, Marsh, Faulkner are all good but it is one allrounder too many. Given Starc and Johnson can bat as well and then there is Haddin.Watson has been dropped.

It's at Perth. They would have been wrapped up within 15 overs if they batted first.Afghan could have batted first in this wicket, winning toss and asking Australian to bat first is suicide.
I doubt that. Bat first and even if you get 175+ you're still in the game if you get a couple of wickets. Bowl first and Australia pile on 300+ and the game is effectively over. It's at Perth. They would have been wrapped up within 15 overs if they batted first.
Or get bowled out for 45 runs. It's a fast pitch, a type on which the Afgan batsmen would have hardly ever played. I can understand the decision to bowl first and not expose their batters to a fresh pitch.I doubt that. Bat first and even if you get 175+ you're still in the game if you get a couple of wickets. In my view, a good bowling pitch is much better for the associates than a good batting pitch. Bat first, put the runs on the board and who knows what might happen when you bowl. They are likely to lose, sure but they've got a better chance of pulling of an upset batting first than vice versa.Or get bowled out for 45 runs. Either way, they would most likely get pummelled. Wouldn't have made much of difference. The gap between the two teams in too wide, especially on a pitch condusive to fast bowling.
He's my captain. Had the MoTM as captain in the earlier game as well.Warner. Too bad didn't make him captain.

Possibly. The current record is 264, by Sharma? That should go, if he has a bit of luck.Warner could easily get 300 if he plays 50 overs.
Why? Rohit scored against a better bowling attack as compared to Afghanistan.Possibly. The current record is 264, by Sharma? That should go, if he has a bit of luck.
Certainly! What he got against Sri Lanka is a far better achievement than anything anyone does against Afghanistan. You've got the wrong end of the stick if you think I'm disputing that one! Why? Rohit scored against a better bowling attack as compared to Afghanistan.
Same here, made Finch as my captain.Warner. Too bad didn't make him captain.
Anyway, you jinxed him. Congrats!Certainly! What he got against Sri Lanka is a far better achievement than anything anyone does against Afghanistan. You've got the wrong end of the stick if you think I'm disputing that one!
Its D/N match with afternoon sunlight its always easy to bat, just the bounce they need to negotiate, now they have to chase under light with ball zip past.I doubt that. Bat first and even if you get 175+ you're still in the game if you get a couple of wickets. Bowl first and Australia pile on 300+ and the game is effectively over.
Mine is Johnson so I might still get good return on captain.Same here, made Finch as my captain.
They've fallen apart here but they are a much better side than UAE.I thought UAE were bad but Afghanistan have taken it to a new level.
What's the highest score ever? I reckon they would reach 450 easily at this rate. This should be the biggest score of the tournament.
445 I think. What's the highest score ever? I reckon they would reach 450 easily at this rate.
Yeah they are. I think unfortunately for Afghanistan, Australia are smarting after their defeat to the Kiwis and feel like they have something to proveThey've fallen apart here but they are a much better side than UAE.
