So Adebayor will see out his contract then. He's gonna wait awhile for that sign.

Like don bradman, we have gone agonisingly close to the milestone (of 1000 pages )without achieving it. Sad really

Weird Reus story. We should keep a good relationship with Dortmund though. Hope Januzaj shines for them.

United refused to go beyond £50m.
If this is true, I can see why.

Reus has had injury problems in the last two years. He needs to have a injury free season this year and obviously a good season to be worth over £50m.

It's hard to believe United wouldn't pay that much while securing an unproven talent for a huge amount.

Players like Reus and Griezmann are odd, surely one of the big boys wanted them and yet they remain at their '3rd tier' clubs
Chelsea wanted Griezmann and were put off by the £40m or so release clause he had earlier in the summer. Then he signed a new contract, which increased his release clause to £56m.

Pedro, Griezmann, Reus, all would have enhanced the dead area that is the right side of our attack, utterly bizarre that we did nothing to fix it.

It was pretty obvious from the fact that Real chose not to appeal that they had fecked up their end and our statement suggests this.

Great from us that we even offered them our time stamped documents to appeal. Will be interesting to see what they have to say to our statement if anything.

Just hope De Gea realises he has had a lucky escape from the Madrid circus, and sees that the failure on Madrid's part to close the deal would seem
to show that they were not really that serious about signing him.

Would be good if he now get's his head straight and signs a new deal at OT.

We wouldn't even pay 20m for Pedro so I can imagine us turning down Reus for 50m.

Be even better if Madrid get a transfer ban and couldn't register him until 2017. Or if Barca would come in January and buy him for 5m, rather he went there now than Madrid. I just hope his head is ok after this and he can play in the first team again for us, when does the Champions League squads need registering?

United refusing to go above £50M doesn't necessarily mean that the deal could be done at £60M. All the talk on Reus was that he was not for sale

Surely you don't believe we were haggling over a couple million after seeing the martial deal

Would be good for us keeping DDG if Madrid do get a transfer ban. Though they could still come back in for him in January. Hopefully he signs a new deal so we get a fair price for him at some point.

I'm not sure when the champions league squads need registering but think I read somewhere it may actually be 11pm tonight and that's why our window closed at 6pm?

Can anyone confirm this?
