I'm expecting to at least one Neville ninot - the fallas will all be in place on Wednesday, so we'll see. :D A friend of mine is a director with a firework company in Valencia and this year it will be his turn to do the 19th March mascleta and the big Nit de Focs. Unfortunately I can't go, but it will be live on regional TV - not the same, but...

Meanwhile Sevilla win 4-2. Wow.

Athletic are leading Betis 2-0, second half has just started.
There should be they always have ninots for the team. Lim also had one last year. I hope someone shares the pictures here. Love em.

Lousy Smarch weather
Atkinson does't seem so bad compared to these Spanish refs. At least the English linesman are generally a lot better.

Las Palmas play pretty good football, did good against both Barca and Real. Hopefully they will stay up.

Casemiro did a good game again.I read that he is one of the best in Europe getting the ball back in midfield. Finally we have another Makelele
Levante beat Valencia and Las Palmas played good football against Madrid and Barsa as Clarion just said, where is the mediocre level of lower half in la liga?

Speaking of Banega looks like Inter Milan will sign him on a free. His contract is up at the end of the season. They are also after Feghouli, same situation. Inter hustling so hard. Cheapskates. :wenger:

Think he's a lot better defensively. They will miss him, not so much the other one.
dont rate neither and when i think about it, they are basically the same. Two diving pus*y's that pretend to be hard men. Both lack any kind of brain but they have great physical attributes.

Aduriz FINALLY called up to the Spain squad. Nice to see Diego Costa fail to make the cut, and Sergi Roberto given a chance.

They really need to sort out their centre back reserves though. Nacho and Bartra :D

Yup, last call was 5 and half years ago!

Casillas called up. His contract with the devil is still running.

Happy for Sergi Roberto and Aduriz. Despite he deserves it, I wonder if his style (Aduriz) fits in the national team. Pedro?,He could try Aspas ,Bastón or Lucas Pérez. Bartra and Nacho are not playing. Are Carvajal and Iniesta injured?
Edit: Yes, Iniesta is not for medical reasons, but Saúl is not in the team either

Iniesta has muscle discomforts and Carvajal is "not at that level right now" according to Del Bosque.

Saúl (and Bellerín) are only in the u21 squad because the u21s have an important game, they'd both be in the full squad otherwise according to del Bosque. Carvajal isn't injured, consequence of Zidane stupidly preferring Danilo I guess.
