Yes please.

Martial - Zlatan - Rashford
Pogba
Schneiderlin - Rooney
No thank you. I hope to all things sane that we do not build our midfield around Rooney just because. He should be phasing out next season if not gone this summer.

Can't see us signing Pogba anyway.

----------DDG------------
Darmian--smalling-- varane--Shaw
------Schniderlin-Pogba------------
------------Herrera-------------------
Martial-----Zlatan-------Mane/Sane

Euros spend - varane(30 million)
Pogba (80 million)
Zlatan (free)
Mane/sane(40 million)
Thats about 150 million euros and makes us a great team. We will have Rooney, rashford, januzaj, pererra, mata, rojo,BFS all as options. Maybe sell mata/herrera and buy James.

Would rather not pay 80million for him or whatever it is Juve want, also it's a Castles article, also why the feck would he want to come to 5th place United instead of Real/Barca.

There's nothing I hate more than a title that reads like a statement of fact, only for the thread to be a rumour. Actually, no, it's my second most hated thing. The first is any advert with a shitty choir in it, or where the narrator whispers.

Ya, he loved us so much he fecked off as quickly as he could, the same way he ditched Le Havre for us,
He's a merc, Real/Barca is next up for him and he's not worth what Juve want.

Happy to be wrong but pretty sure he said Evra was leaving, he took some stick (especially with the contract renewal) but then he ended up being right.
Thanks. It could have been coincidence. Some years back when I began to follow foreign leagues more closely I came across him and read his tweets but he seemed to be wrong on really everything. Content-wise hardly distinguishable from Indykaila. :wenger:

So, why would one of the most in demand midfielders leave Juventus (a team which competes for the title every year and goes into the final stages of the CL) and join MUFC (a 5th place team, which will be struggling in the EL next season)?
The wage is important to players, but PSG, MCFC and Madrid could offer decent wages, too.
The other issue is our manager - when players join a club, they want to know who the manager is. We can't tell them who the manager will be next season (as embarrassing as that sounds).

Personally, I'd rather we didn't buy any Galactico level players. I'd prefer to focus on a new manager and buying some solid players who can follow Jose's instructions.
We are a 5th place team and we need to focus on competing for the title and we shouldn't need Galactico class players for that (regardless of what LVG says).

Maybe he'll come back (after a high price paid) to show the crowd what they missed because of Sir Alex.

We actually do stand the chance here.
Barca don't have the money with the new Neymar contract
Real, while probably interested, have Kroos and Modric
Atletico don't have the money
Bayern have Kimmich, Sanches, Alonso, Martinez, Thiago and even Alaba and Lahm for the central positions
Borussia don't have the money
Chelsea looks like a worse choice than us currently
City are more interested in Gundogan and Weigl, Pogba doesn't look like Pep's kind of player

PSG is our most dangerous opponent. Matuidi - Verratti - Pogba will be absolutely awesome tbh.
Arent Real trying to offload Kroos?

Makes a lot of sense if we can stomach the idea of losing him on a free then buying him back for a world record fee (for a midfielder). He'd probably like playing with Martial, Morgan, and being reunited with Januzaj.
He'll need to see where he goes on loan to first if he wants that. No way Januzaj doesn't leave this summer one way or another

Unless he's writing about Mendes' clients, in which case it should be taken as the gospel truth (or at least Mendes' version of it). Example being Castles claiming prior to Mourinho's re-appointment at Chelsea in 2013 that among the manager's first actions at the club would be finding buyers for David Luiz and two-time player of the year Juan Mata. Castles was widely ridiculed at the time.

You forget his agent is raiola and he believes his clients should move every 3-4 years. See the career of zlatan(who considers him a genius) for example. So i think there might be truth in it. Moyes wanted to try for him had he stayed. Pogba has always said he has great memories of united and does not hold any grudge. He wanted playing time and juve guaranteed him that. Sir alex might have a different spin on the story but when you start rafael and park ji sung infront of one of the most talented youngsters, he had a reason to be unhappy. I hope this is true as it will give us a great player and also other great players will become more interested in joining.

If Juventus are willing to sell Pogba, I can't see us being the team that signs him. All the top clubs in Europe would be after him and unfortunately, we're not at that level right now.

That's interesting, thanks. I didn't read his tweets any longer at that time. I like the bolded part :D because I'm convinced that 50% of transfer stories are launched via agents, 20% leaked by clubs, 29% invented and 1% comes from actual old school jouro investigation.

There was that rumour that Juve budgeted their spending last summer on the idea that they would recoup that through selling Pogba to Barca a year later.
Since Barca seem to have pulled out then Juve telling his agent to find another club makes sense.

We're not getting him. Can't believe people believe Castles when he reports something positive for United, but he's the scum of the earth and shouldn't be believed when's he's talking shit about us.

From what I've seen, he really loves United, for years he had stars in his eyes while talking about United, so I wouldn't surprise if he can be convinced by United to re-join them.

Mourinho doesn't seem bothered. He did the same thing, albeit on a much lesser scale with Matic. That took even more backtracking since if i remember rightly it was him who sold him. It probably won't stop us going in for Lukaku either.

We all love United
I have a feeling if we offer the most money to his agent, he will force and convince his client to come. It will all be about the agent fee and the player's wages

Now that was looking very tasty till you had to go and spoil it with that Schneiderlin shit! Seriously?? He would be seriously out of place in that line up. Replace him with a.n.other and I'm with you all the way.

I'd much rather sign a player that wants to be here than the CM equivalent of Di Maria. The problem is we're in a hole now. We're not going to attract too many players of his class who want us above all else.
