I don't think there'll be a press conference anytime soon unless it's done in London. Looks like Mourinho wants to focus on his upcoming trial (pic of him the other day had his notes for the trial). Same with any unveiling pics, they'll probably be done at London HQ too.

Well it is I guess - biggest club in the world appointing the biggest "name" manager in the world. Everybody knows it's a job he's wanted for years, it's just massive to be fair.
It is, its the holy grail of jobs for Mourinho, we factor in the people running the club is not half has toxic has Madrid, Chelsea, etc, despite how inept their decision making have been, this is actually a completely different animal Mourinho is taking over, and that is what will make this combination fascinating how it works, how will Mourinho and united work? if it works out? the likes of Meulensteen, cantona, charlton and quiet a few former united player look very foolish, especially back in 2013 in what charlton said about Mourinho, if it does not? there will be a huge clamor from people wanting giggs to get the job, the worry is? if Mourinho can't get it right, who else could? so this is a huge couple of season's ahead for united, to finally get them back in the elite, and adapt to modern football when new managers come and go. Transfers must be shrewd, smart and effective on what united need, and not names to sell shirts. Mourinho actually brings common sense on what a team needs, so lets hope he brings that to united, because there are holes in this team, like our spine of defense and the engine room

Skysports saying he's returned home now

Wonder how long we can drag it out before all the reporters give up and go home

I can't believe how boring a life of a journalist must be.

A highly confidential "source" comes to you, aka Mendes to try inflate a price of his player, in this case to say United want Jose.

Then the media go to Jose to ask him about something "our sources indicate" aka his own agent has said.

If their wife goes to them "there's curry powder in the food", does the journalist go "my sources indicate there's curry powder in this food, can you confirm this?".

It must be the most boring job on the planet.

Then with players having to write articles based on "a source" saying one sentence or quoting another newspaper, having to write about the player has scored 32 goals this season, having won the league cup and being in great form, now this club is interested.

zero substance just rattling on about statistics to make it seem credible.

This is excellent news in my humble opinion, at least now we have the summer to work on targets and start the rebuilding process!

Well, that's it then. Let's hope he gets us playing exciting, winning football because I've missed that over the last couple of years. Who knows if he's the right man, personally I think this is the job he has coveted more than any other and he could well help bring us the success we as a club expect.

We're looking a bit daft that everything we're doing relating to the manager position are announced by the press ages before we catch up and announce them ourselves :/ brilliant news though, if definitely true!
