You might be on to something there.
I've got a City fan on fb that never shuts up about United. If anyone replies with sense he'll act like he's gotten them to bite. Anyway, I reckon he'd fit into that category.

For the City fans reading this thread.... you are oil dependent. You have as much history as a sunday pub team.
Now hold on just a damned second! I used to represent the Oak Inn, and I resent this remark! :D We won two cups before City even won the oil ownership lottery. The pub itself is older than their team.

There was a good thread down in the noobs about City, with a City fan or two preaching about how they aren't oil dependent anymore, because now they're totally sustainable and profitable, with all these sponsorship deals with Etihad, Etisalat, Chinese investment etc.

Their sponsorship deals are clearly disproportionate to their actual value/profile. They also seem to involve their owners quite a bit. City is a project, not so much a club or even a business.

I tried to explain this to them with this helpful diagram, but they're all a bit thick/in denial.

Flicked through a few pages and not one of them had anything remotely positive to say about Mourinho. It should shows the delusion between us and them. When Mourinho was appointed to Chelsea many of us on the cafe were bricking it that he'd come back and dominate the league like Ferguson but there's nothing like that on Bluemoon, not even an ''okay'' appointment by United .

He's just a straight up shit rag cnut, apparently.

Aye, rags this, rags that. Verbally talented bunch.

They don’t care ’cause they got ”the man United wanted”. The previous season has barely ended and "United thread 2016/2017" has 462 replies already.

They are all squealing with glee over their new badge.

They are ignoring the fact that it omits the words 'Football Club' or 'FC'.

Yet they gave us shit when our badge did the same. It meant United was no longer a football club, apparently.

Let's be real, JM is not a well liked character by anyone bar Chelsea and United fans. Even then deep down you all think he's a khunt. It doesn't mean he's not a great Manager though but what do you expect after all the antics, eye gouging, etc?

The Brand.

I don't actually dislike it, but it's got a very flat UI look to it, and they were going mental about replacing the old eagle and three random bullshit stars beforehand, which looked great on all manner of quality, genuine merchandise:

Thickest set of inbred tosspots to ever grace this earth. You need to be a certain type of (in)breed to support that mob. Never met a single blue with any knowledge of the game at all that does not go past 'rags' or 'bacon face'. A bloke in work i thought was decent - known him 14 years but then he start blerting out some bile the other day about how Mourinho is over rated and that if we do sign Zlatan then he ain't worth it because apparently Mangala had him in his back pocket. Any respect i had for him left me in a couple of sentences.

In a way though i do feel sorry for them - for donkeys years they have been in our shadow- and they have had a whiff , a smell, a sideboob of our success recently and suddenly they are a classy outfit with everything going for them with this excellent academy etc (other than Iheanacho i cannot think of a single player who has broke through and even been mildly successful).

They really do have Owen Heart syndrome when it comes to us (forgive the wrestling reference).

Couple that with Curly Watts, Niall Quinn and Bernard Manning supporting them it makes them an insignificant stain on our grundies.

Iheanacho came from Taye Academy in Nigeria and was at City for a year before starting. That's hardly a beacon of youth development, and not at all comparable to lads like Rashford, CBJ or Lingaard who have developed with us over a decade. Buying the best 17 year old talent != amazing academy.

It's insane how much coverage this bollocks is getting.

I've just counted 10 separate JM Man Utd articles IN A ROW on the SSN app! WTF!
I don't know who's worse. Him for spending his morning counting articles on the appointment of Mourinho or me for reading his post on Bluemoon. I'm definitely more self-aware than to describe something as insane before stopping to reflect on my own actions, though.

In fairness, I have to consider myself equally as insane as him for reading Bluemoon when I could be reading one of those many Mourinho articles we've been blessed with.

"Can Manchester United score? They always score"
Arsenal Mania view on BM

''Has anybody ever been on the bluemoon forum? Just peeped on there to see how they were reacting to Mourinho and its absolutely cringe!!!!
How old are they over there? Its like everything they say is 'rag', 'wanker' 'bacon face'...i mean its pathetic.
Are City fans generally like that? I know Citeh were behind United for yearssss before they got the oil money, but their hate for United is like anything I have seen from a football forum! Even Rawk is more sensible
There United thread for 2016/17 is like 50 pages already and the Atletico vs Madrid match is all about United LOL
BlueMoon is a ****ing cesspit. Not as deluded''

”menchester”. And as any proper City fan, this one’s got Barca, Juve, Marseille etc. gear ready for the inevitable, weekly change of favourite clubs.

That's the sort of thing they sell in Algeria, I think. When I went there, a few years ago admittedly, I saw flip flops & trainers where Nike & the 'tick' symbol had been drawn on in blue biro.
That's Morocco; I imagine the same :)
