 I didn't say he won't improve us. He just won't improve us 'significantly'. He had a poor season last season and he's getting on.
I think all the Euphoria of the promise of next season has clouded your judgement of just how bad our midfield has been for thee last 3 seasons :wenger:

Imagine Pogba and Matuidi in place of Schneiderlin and fallaini. There is no comparison when it's in black and white

First Dortmund now these fools.

What is it about our transfer targets that makes their clubs so bitter.

Edit: nvm, just saw the posts above.
As shown above, it means nothing to do with the transfer.

Some of their players are genuinely working hard in the pool and the others on the field.

feck Madrid. Detestable club.

Can't believe how many on here yet cheer them on when they play Barca.
I used to think they were decent when I was younger. But the way they conduct their business is abhorrent. I Loathe them and their politicking.

I will take a lot of pleasure when we sign their 'number one priority' this window.

I don't see how it's good.
It's obviously just a PR thing, we met with Marrotta or whoever yesterday and La Stampa are reporting it as down to only the payment structure today, Adidas & Pogba hardly recorded this in the last few minutes.

Oh I'd take him no doubt. But not without Pogba. I'm in too deep.

Likewise, never minded them so much , say , 10 years ago, but I absolutely loathe them now, to the point that I turn it over if they are on the TV!! From the president, down to the fans, they infuriate me with the way they Have to buy every player going, wankers.

TBF It is very odd. With all the speculation surrounding him for them to specifically chose Pogba saying to ignore rumours in the papers is questionable. Juve are adidas too.

I'm so conflicted. :(

So? Adidas are not stupid enough to feck over a prominent client for a 10 seconds gif.

Btw.. What is this Adidas gif? Why would they put out this without any context? I mean it would have been understandable, if they had some new tagline or new product.

We will put our hope on Nerozzi. He is usually reliable with Juve news.
The next big moment is Di Marzio's update today. If he backs up Nerozzi's claims with his own information, double confirmation from two good sources, means it's done.

We now wait for the messiah to hand down his tweets :lol:

Any of you guys have tweets on the recent Zidane quotes! Feck me side ways! Where are all you guys that said Madrid is nowhere near this deal!? Please tell me Goal made up this quote!

"In this moment we are still working [on a move for Pogba], and I cannot say anything more," Goal.com quotes Zidane as saying. "Until August 31 anything can happen, but today he is not a Real Madrid player and I cannot talk about what will happen.

"I always say how things are, but now is not the time to talk about this. A lot of clubs are interested in Pogba. Real Madrid always want the best players, but we owe Juventus respect, and I can't say anything more out of respect."

He's obviously talking about the rumours that he would prefer to go to Madrid.

They made up that quote

Actual quote:

"In this moment we are still working [in pre-season], and I cannot say anything more," the Madrid coach said.

You could always ask @aquireme given that his mole works in the Adidas marketing department.

They could pounce. Ronaldinho was connected with us daily and then Barca popped up...

Yeah I just saw now from other sites, damn goal cnuts! They really shitty! Anyway, back to my inner peaceful muppet mode...if one even exists!

Hope we get some news today, i'm really bored out my mind. My poor F5 button is fading the way I have used it so much!

@AquireMe Any marketing updates perhaps? :D

Where's everyone also by the way? Pog still in Miami, Riaola in Italy? Woody England?

The quotes are as legit - someone posted the actual interview a few pages back - as Madrids interest in Pogba is.
It's been obvious right from the beginning that Madrid will have their say in this transfer. Only chance to wrap this one up is to outprice them and hope that Pogba will sign - so Woody would need to speed up the things a little bit..

I can't remember why I joined this war.

Even though they didn't take a swipe at us and the Pogba transfer I also don't expect them to be happy about these deals. Juve and Dortmund atm are second tier clubs who constantly end up losing their best players to bigger teams. It's frustrating if your aim is to break into that sphere of super clubs but can't really make it because you constantly have to rebuild the squad.

But then again they basically do the same to third or fourth tier clubs, so they aren't really in a position to complain really, but of course they can be bitter about it.

Are people still honestly questioning wether this transfer will actually go ahead? It's in the bag muppets! Literally no reputable Spanish paper going with any sort of solid story. Some posters here need to take a break from this part of the forum.

Speaking in an interview, the 34-year-old stated: "Everything happened very quickly. A good friend of mine who was running to be on the Barcelona board, Sandro Rosell, had asked me if I'd play for Barcelona when they won the election and I told him that I would.

"I was on the brink of joining Manchester United, there were just a few details to iron out, but Rosell called me at the last minute to tell me that they were going to win the election.

"That made everything happen very fast".

"I wanted to play there," added the Brazilian. "I was going to have the chance to follow in my idols' footsteps. I was proud to play where Romario, Ronaldo and Rivaldo had done. I was lucky enough to become the new Barcelona 'R' which I really loved."

Few details to iron out...
Ronaldoinho had idols and connections at Barca. Pogba has an idol and a connection with Real (Zidane). All going to come down to whether Zidane can get Madrid to cough up the cash.
