Joe RileyWhose that stood between micky and blind?
Joe RileyWhose that stood between micky and blind?
Is it? Good to see him involved.Joe Riley
Yeah jose comes across as a tease.gives us all the hints and clues but stops short of naming the player because its against his morales.it makes great viewing watching him say he doesnt talk about other clubs and their players considering his well known past.Yeahh you can tell Jose is just like the rest of us wants it done and him training with the squad. I enjoyed the bit at the end when he started talking about who we've brought in and said we're going to add a top quality midfielder to the squad

Get over it, it will be a terrific transfer for the club.
Lads at no point have I gotten wound up or objected to the transfer on the basis of the homegrown element. I was just discussing that aspect today. Strange you both thought I was!Buying back our own player is what makes this strange. Which we've known about for ages. Why are you getting additionally wound after just finding out he's "home-grown"? The regulations mean home-grown players are more valuable. So usually come at a premium. This fact makes the price seem less steep, not more.
They have a 110 year old called Barry writing up the contracts he's never used a computer before, he keeps forgetting where the keys are. He's typing a 30 page document, bear with him.Tweet

I guess if he's on holiday there was no rush to get them done until he returns. Ergo tomorrow. They have a 110 year old called Barry writing up the contracts he's never used a computer before, he keeps forgetting where the keys are. He's typing a 30 page document, bear with him.
The contract will be done within 48 hours, including nap time.
Because he added "Normally next week we will have our squad closed."
Another way of saying all of the transfers will be sorted by the Bournemouth game imo.
IF Pogba is due back to Juve on Sunday, I just can't see how something won't be confirmed before then. Although I think it's BS Sky did say he would be in Manchester on Saturday, so we shall see.
For all this talk about marketing exposure etc, I think we / Adidas would be missing a huge trick not to have him at the game on Sunday.
It might still be concluded early next week, but if Mou was confident of that, he would say so wouldn't he? If it was only a matter of flying him in and taking pictures, wouldn't the manager say something like "we will try to bring in the player early next week(or next couple of days) so he can at least train for a week before the start of the season."He said that date because the league starts then. Its not a deadline of any sorts. Just saying we will conclude our business by the time the league starts. It could be anytime between now and then.
That is really just so stupidSo it's another 48 hours.....
Just saw this on twitter and made me giggle.
"Just popped to the United megastore and asked if I can get Pogba on the back of my shirt.
They said "No, come back in 48 hours..."
Manchester United is Manchester United. Regardless of who the manager is.In theory it quite clearly does. Gill/SAF is not Woodward/Mourinho and they do not operate in the same manner either. Looking past this just to argue over one word is completely missing the point.
That's how I see it, though I would argue that Muller, Neymar, Bale - all these players were offered World record bids which were all declined.Head - Done dealio
Heart - Done Dealio
Circumstances - Done dealio
Trauma caused by vidal/sneijder/thiago/etc - It's not over till Pogba is in our shirt.
Kroos and Kante but that's out of the question, at United though, Herrera (high pressure) and Schneiderlin (screening back four) but I do think Schneiderlin could be replaced.Agreed.. though it would seem appropriate for the thread to be left open until the summit is reached, regardless of the (somewhat inevitable) outcome!
What kind of midfield do you feel will suit him best? i.e. other players etc.
Nah we've employed the same person who wrote the Magna CartaThey have a 110 year old called Barry writing up the contracts he's never used a computer before, he keeps forgetting where the keys are. He's typing a 30 page document, bear with him.
The contract will be done within 48 hours, including nap time.
Interesting, I think that's the first time I've heard it reported that Woodward met with Pogba in Miami, when Raiola was visiting.Tweet

Who is Pogba most similar to in the PL from last season? (I haven't seen much of him)Kroos and Kante but that's out of the question, at United though, Herrera (high pressure) and Schneiderlin (screening back four) but I do think Schneiderlin could be replaced.
In fairness, no one. He's a pretty unique player.Who is Pogba most similar to in the PL from last season? (I haven't seen much of him)
Ahhhh. Any similar options to him in Europe currently? In fairness, no one. He's a pretty unique player.
No but it's Pog48h!It's not Pogday, is it?
He's sort of a hybrid of Yaya and Viera in their respective primes, except a bit better. Can't think of any players similar to Pogba past and present. He has a few characteristics similar to Vieira but Pogba plays very different in the final third.
He's hard player to describe or find similar players for. The best I can do is that he's a more nimble, stylish, fleet footed and tricky version of pre-lazyness Toure without being as brutally strong as he was. Like Toure, I'm not convinced Pogba suits a 2 man midfield but rather needs to be given the liscence to roam Lampard style.Who is Pogba most similar to in the PL from last season? (I haven't seen much of him)
I would say Yaya Toure. A physical goal scoring midfielder, especially good from distance. I would say that Pogba has much more flair than Toure thoughWho is Pogba most similar to in the PL from last season? (I haven't seen much of him)

Shit. Not what we want him to see.Tweet

No doubt. Who's calling the shot around the club is, however, not the same as who got rid of him.Manchester United is Manchester United. Regardless of who the manager is.
It's very easy to grasp. I just don't agree with you're description of two different entities. No doubt. Who's calling the shot around the club is, however, not the same as who got rid of him.
Christ I can't believe it's that hard to grasp.
Christ don't let him see that until after he has signed!
He probably wants to catch up on some sleep.Shit. Not what we want him to see.
Ha ha, that would be amazing! And maybe that explains the cryptic caption that went with it.Interesting, I think that's the first time I've heard it reported that Woodward met with Pogba in Miami, when Raiola was visiting.
Now we know who snapped the picture of the Pogs and Raiola laughing in the pool!
Pogba doesn't have a grudge with United, he had one with Ferguson. Also I think that grudge can be well and truely burried, Pogba was right, he won, we all know that, the world knows that, us paying £100m now shows that United knows it aswell. If Fergie still has a problem with it, then it will be his problem from now on and his alone, not ours anymore. It's very easy to grasp. I just don't agree with you're description of two different entities.
