I may have shed a tear for those two.

I hope Laura Trott comes back for 2020 as good as she is, whatever she chooses in her Personal Life

Murray, Kenny, Whitlock and Trott all make very good cases for SPOTY.

We're so good at sport, every Olympics makes me feel good to be a Brit - even though politics and football has made me despise everything about it so far this year.

If I find out Laura Trott voted Brexit I'll be so upset.

She has done quite well for herself outside of Europe, to be fair.

Football made you dislike it?

We are good now, but it wasn't always so. This crazy Lottery medal based marginal gains funding really does seem to work.

Imagine winning the Tour de France and an olympic medal but you're not even in contention to be SPOTY. That's when you know your country is good at sports.

I love how table tennis is mostly Chinese players vs. Chinese players that didn't make the cut in their home country.

Amazing from Trott and Kenny. The speed he gets up to on that back straight is something to behold, completely unbeatable. And he's not even enormous like Hoy.

Though there's a thought - Kenny (16) v Hoy (08)?
