He is immense. So glad to have him back.

Had a bit of an injury scare but it didn't affect him in the slightest :D

He should be walking back into the side at the weekend. I'd probably partner him with Jones at present.

Looking over my shoulder.
Stretcher? No thanks!

He looked so calm and assured today. If he can bring that back to the league coupled with his physical attributes, then he is impossible to play against.

He was great today, so happy to see him back. He just gotta control himself more, should have been sent off for that kick on the ground.

Rojo doesn't deserve to be dropped tbh. I would line up like today at centre back for Tottenham.

Time to start with Bailly jokes. Bailly doesn't do push ups, he just pushes the earth down.

I'll get my coat.

He's lucky he isn't suspended. I quite like Rojo at centre half, for what it's worth. I always have. But Jones is the better defender, and I think that's what we're going to need against Spurs.

What a tremendous footballer. Leaves everything on the pitch. Definitely my favourite player along with Mickey.

Lucky not to be sent off tonight, but did everything else well.

Think our best defensive partnership is Bailly-Smalling. If not, then Bailly-Jones.

He's very, very good but has to watch his rashness still. Also, isn't good enough in the air yet. But he's got so many top attributes. Nice to have him back.

It's him and Jones for me. That's a balls to the wall CB pairing.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time

Other than their first game together, I've felt Rojo has been better than Jones in all these recent matches. Well, the Everton match was a bit strange as Rojo had two or three bad moments (including the tackle he should have got a red for), but other than those moments I felt he was better.

Plus Rojo plays on the left, whereas both Bailly and Jones prefer the right (Smalling also prefers the right, but he's tended to be the one to move to the left whenever he's partnered either Bailly or Jones).

As such I'm fairly certain Mourinho will go for Bailly-Rojo again until Smalling is back.

Looking set to become an all time United legend imho.
Was my POTY before getting injured, first game back and looked good as ever. What a player we have got. Even the bicycle kick looked class!!

Agreed, even though we were playing a shite team today you can see the difference he makes at the back. Just quality.

The beast is back! He's great to watch and I said it before but I think he's the spiritual successor to Paddy Evra.

Adds an extra 5-10 per cent to our team. Some of our recent 1-1s would've been 1-0 wins with Bailly.

Missed the match. How was the injury? Serious?
took a shoulder to the chin, seemed to shake him up for a few minutes but once he cleared his head he was back to it. Finished the game fine.

He and Rojo could be something.
I think so too. Early days obviously but they've both got a nimbleness to their defending without giving away too much physically.

Pretty well suited to the defending the current batch of PL forwards, the likes of Aguero, Sanchez and Hazard.

Rojo has done well but Jones in the same time has probably been the better of the two. Plus didn't have any incident where he should've got a red. So I would stick with him, and play Bailly next to him. Think they are our 2 best all around defenders anyway.

Don't think Bailly is very good on the left side, Jones can do it but he's better on the right also.

Stick with Rojo left and Choose between Jones or Bailly.

Clearly i am overexcited about this guy, but i shall say it anyway. This lad is the African Vidic, hes clumsy, but when he means to make a tackle or a header he goes into it with everything that he has and his timing is impeccable (most of the time)

Cant wait to see more

Also Mourinho has lit a fire under Rojo and i love that only ever so slightly less

Played like he never missed a game. Hes been better than I thought he would be. Really suited for United and for the league we play in. And hes only 22, so much scope to improve still.
