he's good premier league striker but he's not a world class goal scorer imo, some of his misses are so shocking, he's been compared to andy cole due to him needed so many chances to get a goal but even cole was more deadly than lukaku is, I would still say martial is the player united should want with the ball at his feet inside the opponents box.

Wasn't even that shocking of a miss, people are overreacting. If he had shot at the keeper, the reaction wouldn't have been so strong.
It was an awful miss but let's not pretend they don't happen to everyone. I remember Ronaldo putting on over the bar from a yard away from an open net.

oh no i don't have the same exact thoughts as you, shoot me! i'm not judging him on that one miss, for me he's a little frustrating to watch in front of goal, he misses quite a lot of clear cut chances since joining the club.
It wasn't as easy as some make it out to be. Yes he should have finished that but he had to dummy Williams first and Pickford closed the angles well so he had to try to put it wide in the corner. But I don't think it was a tap in from a yard out.

Everytime he has half a second to think he messes up. Just a terrible decision maker. He's good when he is finishing instinctively.
Bad miss, but should not dwell on it. He should have shot it on the right, easy chance to put away as the keeper was on his line.
Should have scored but not the worst miss I've seen. But he does need to work a bit more on his finishing to complement his impeccable all around play.

easy to say but that close in you probably just smack it straight and low. You open your body so close to the ball and you can open yourself too much. Not overly concerned but we could do with a second.

Sounds like you are judging him on one miss. Maybe you should judge him on his goal scoring statistics? They're pretty world class to me.

Calm down, it's really mind boggling that you guys have been promoted to mains and we are rotting down in the newbs. Did you see it from the other angle? From behind Lukaku? It wasn't a sitter. Yep, he created a decent angle but keeper almost had it covered unless Lukaku could curl it back.
People who expect strikers to score every chance and have conversion rate 100% are weird.
