Of course he should've but it wasn't particularly "shocking". You see those every other game. Simple one v one against the keeper (and it was his good work that lead to it). People are acting as if he missed at empty goal. The fact that it looked as if it was going in and the shock that it didn't has distorted people's perception of it, I think.
