Premier League Gameweek 11 (Nov 4th - Nov 5th 2017)

They have been magnificent and lead this game anyway so I wouldn't say praising them would be misleading. But yeah, it is annoying. Arsenal looked decent in this half at times.
Well they have 3 points against one of the top 6 teams when they shouldn't have. So it's not fair for Arsenal but also for us and the other teams of the top 6.

The player who was interfering was marginally offside, but the benefit of doubt is supposed to go to attackers in those situations. It was very close real time so it's a fair enough decision.

I hope this helps.

This is the perfect situation to use videos for. So easy to do too.
I know they’re worried about slowing down the game but just use it for situations that lead directly to goals or penalties, doesn’t have to be for every free kick/corner that’s contested. Takes seconds to have a look at the replay and you’ll get maybe 1 a game on average if that...

That was offside, but Arsenal just stopped playing without a whistle! They could have prevented that goal. Players tried to be the ref.
Well but then when its so plain obvious to everyone in the stadium its offside (except the linesman), then its natural the players might just stop playing to be fair.

They shouldn't have? Who is that team?

They all did. That is unprofessional
Yup. If I was Wenger I'd be just as pissed off with that as with the linesman. Goal could've easily have been prevented if they'd just bothered to defend. As if the linesman was going to change his mind :houllier:

It was a shit decision, even Silva stopped, knowing he was almost certainly offside.

Hope that helps.

The pen I think was a benefit of doubt decision.

Can't we get rid of at least the linesmen? Surely the technology is already here. Instant replays can pretty much tell us right away if there's an offside or not.
Just do it.

I wish we can get rid of referees altogether. Morons like Oliver shouldn't be allowed near a football match.

Still no reason to keep on doing it. The players aren't there to force a decision from the ref
I agree with your logic but I can see any team failing for the same mistake, especially if they set up the offside trap intentionally.

I hate that they can bring on a player like B. Silva with 5 minutes left of a game that is already over...

Exactly. A little time for correct decisions is worth it.

Bernado Silva basically a sub for a City.

The absolute meltdown on here when he signed for City.
I'll take him at Barca right now. De Bruyne and Silva are world class. That doesn't make Bernardo any less than a very very good player.

I hate when we are shit, but got robbed.

Manchester is red though. You are a club without history.
You do realise his stupid it looks when an arsenal fan whose not even from england boasts about what color a city is. Spent much time there? Go cry in the corner with arsene and stop being an ass.

It was shit defending. The decision was very close real time so it's fair enough.

I thought the penalty was a shocker until another cafe member pointed out Sterling's legs were taken.

If this had happened vs. United, it'd be "well, we have some shit calls go against us, it's about time something goes in our favour, bla bla bla". A City fan can probably dig up past shit decisions against them too, so this evens it out for them, I guess :wenger:

I think Arsenal Fan TV won't be much fun today. It was a daylight robbery from the refs.

NBC commentator: Arsenal players can keep their heads high today. Yes, they've conceded 3 goals but they could've conceded 3 more...

Are you from England yourself? Just curious about your American spelling of "colour".
