I think these are actually good news. Raiola confirms it's about Mkhi and between United and Arsenal. City and Chelsea are out. For me this is better situation than compete with City. I guess United will sign him, Mkhi goes or stays. Salaries are not problem. Only problem is that is Arsenal willing to sell him without Mkhi? And i guess sooner or later they are. They must rebuild soon and they don't have unlimited budget. If we pay like 40M, they will take it. They don't want to let him go for a free.

Confidence obviously plays a part but I genuinely don't think he's actually that good at football. His dribbling isn't anything special against tough opposition, has a lack of awareness and space despite being seemingly good at this at Dortmund, and lacks any character on the pitch.

The last time Mkhi scored or assisted was the 27th of September vs CSKA Moscow away (1 goal, 1 assist). Since then he's had 638 minutes without scoring or assisting. Over 10 and a half hours of football.
Hilarious, that people on here are accusing Miki of being public enemy number one as he won't go somewhere he doesn't want to on his terms, just so we can bring a mercenary in. I certainly wouldn't in his shoes, & I expect neither would anyone on these forums if they were in a similar situation.

Surely this cannot be a straight swap. But in that crazy hypothetical scenario, it wouldn't be surprising if we would subsidise Mkhi's wages there to get him to leave.
The fact he has been playing like shite and Mourinho wants him out should be his problem. He can get a fresh start at Arsenal, if he pulls up his nose for that, I will be even further disappointed in him then I already am right now.
He can join whatever club he wants but Arsenal would be a good club for him at this level and it is also not that there are many other alternatives except sitting on the bench at United, a club that doesn't want you anymore, that doesn't need you anymore. A player who is in his prime should have higher ambitions than being an unwanted bench player.
People really are underrating Miki and this situation. Miki has several years left on his contract, while Sanchez only has about 5 months and will be free. Miki is easily worth as much as Sanchez in these circumstances. The only reason why Miki isn't worth a lot more is his relatively high wage demands that Arsenal likely won't match, which will lower his transfer fee.
Raiola says a deal isn't happening any soon so it may drag on until the last days of the window.
Isn´t it unlikely that Raiola creates like .. bad karma or a bad relationship with Mourinho/the club by not doing everything to get this deal through? What´s the benefit for him in having a client (Miki) benched and forgotten at Utd?

I'd like this to be true but I doubt it is, given the Armenian journalist was mentioning specific figures. I can imagine why people would want to sell the deal like this, to maintain Mhki's perceived worth. However, a straight swap seems very unlikely to my mind.

If Sanchez is only worth £35m with 6 months to go, then I don't know why Miki isn't worth the same (could definitely get more for him if he was in better form). I mean fecking AOC went for £40m don't forget.

But surely Arsenal would then be better served reverting to a £35 million fee and leaving Miki out of it. Cash plus Miki I can understand, even when taking Sanchez's contract situation into account; but a straight swap would be a poor deal for Arsenal. I still think it will be cash plus Miki.
