I would be extremely happy if Mikhi start dominating in Arsenal. He's just not been consistent enough for United. Too much pressure here. Still love this player, and won't blame him if he ever celebrates scoring against us.

Mickys PR team have done a good job of changing perceptions on him in one article. Remember how you felt after every misplaced pass he’s tried this season. Let’s also not forget he’s going to play for Arsenal, not being dumped naked in Siberia.
Exactly

I dont even think hes good enough for Huddersfield let alone Arsenal.

Mkhi should count his lucky stars that he got a move to Arsenal and not some random Turkish or Chinese club.

Lmao... Just rang talksport slurring my words... Got through to one of the producers.. he asked me what I wanted to say.. I said that too much is being made out of Sanchez's and Pep's 'relationship' from what I remember Pep preferred Pedro and if anything Tito Villanova was one with whom Sanchez had a better relationship.

Said theyll call back. They won't.
Now ring back and say sources close to you have stated that Sanchez will earn upwards of £1m a week and you'll get straight through to the live show.

I think Adrian Durham is in full wind up mode

“United paying Sanchez half a million a week!”
“More than Messi!”
“Bringing in Sanchez instead of playing Rashford sums mourinho up”
“He’s chose United for money. No other reason”
Yes it does.
He wants to win at any cost. And he should've been the one to replace Fergie in the very first instance.

Genuinely feel sorry for Miki. Great lad, but just not consistent enough for us. Wish him all the best though.

Still feel bad for Mkhi and anyone who says anything bad against him is a wanker as far as I'm concerned.

He's been playing at a huge club, in the Champions League and he's no doubt very proud of that. It's a very public kick in the face to be booted out for a better model and I can't imagine it feels very nice. He's no doubt settled in the area, has a house he's made a home and made friends in the local area - he's having to uproot all that and start again. I expect he's also made friends around the club. Not just players but the whole United family.

He might not have set the pitch on fire recently but we shouldn't hold that against him, some people just don't have that extra something to make it at United and/or in a Mourinho team.

Best of luck to him at Arsenal. Hopefully he scores against all our rivals.

Pretty much how i see it. I said as much earlier in the week when people were going off on him. It didn't quite work out for him here, but the hate he was getting for his perceived dilly-dallying in his move to Arsenal was pathetic.

He seems a pretty unassuming guy who desperately wanted to succeed here and was overjoyed at joining us, judging by the noises that was being made when we signed him from Dortmund. He had some great performances for us and scored in the bloody Europa League final!

Granted, those performances were few and far between but good luck to the fella.

In all seriousness, about the wages.. Remember City blew us out the water with Tevez. Not a peep from the press about him being a mercenary that he is.

Even if the "half a million" was true (which it isn't) that's still probably about half of Messi's wage. Isn't Messi on about a million a week before tax?
Base salary. With his image rights and loyalty bonus amortised over the duration of his contract he's on just under £2m per week. Allegedly, he earns 104m euros per year inclusive of everything (gross).

Because he has a working internet connection and the (misguided) ability to open the Daily Mail website?
yes, the point is why quote a random that is merely tweeting the daily mail when you could just you know... quote the daily mail itself(not that it is anything special)
Just wondering if he was something special about him that he would be quoted in the first place...

At least he was our Europa hero.
You always should have a moment like that.
Hargreaves had his in the 2008 UCL.

Even though the Europa is not the biggest of the lot, knowing how much it meant for the club and fans is something I am sure he will cherish his whole life.

So if Sanchez plays for Arsenal tomorrow and get's injured and is out for a month, do we still go ahead and sign him?

My thoughts exactly. He’s lucky blindly optimistic mugs are in charge at Arsenal and that he has Mino as his agent.

Ah well, siege mentality suits us. it's us against them. There is more of us than all of them put together. cnuts.
This is the way it should be.
Though it dowa irk me, when our own fans sing the praises of MCFC/Pep, while calling Jose and our players, all kind of derogatory names.

Funny hacks talk about money in football but their employers are doing the same thing. It's about clicks and traffic now.

How many people do investigative sports journalism now which brings to light real issues? I can only think of Danny Taylor and thats that.

Are there any other set of fans who are as negative as ours?
I don't know. Fans of some clubs have actual reasons to be negative and miserable. Relegation, going out of business, that kind of thing. Doesn't really compare to "I want us to sign that world class player nooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww".

I think the £264k is true just not the after tax part.
I think it's most likely 264k (minus Micky's 140k so = 124k difference), straight swap and 10m in signing on fee's so more like 73m total package (45m if counting the loss of Micky's wages to us) and the media are trying to sell it as 180m

What was the real fee for VVD then? 75m plus I'm assuming 5 and a 1/2 year contract probably 150k a week at least so 43m and then signing fee's so 50m so overall 125m? Then you've got to convert the currency to make it look higher so $173m sound fair? $173m for a defender that's nearly 27 which is almost 30 and not world class!!
