Under soil heating.
Anyone else feel like he is instantly going to get **** like status amongst us? He feels like a symbol against everything that is anti-United. Can't wait to see him play now. Wish I had a ticket for Friday!

This reminds me of Dragon Ball Z where Frieza was constantly saying Namek was going to blow up in 5 minutes over the course of 20 episodes.
Let me ask my son about that - I will get back to you in season 2

Why is everyone so baffled it's a straight swap? Sanchez is out of contract in 5 months and Mkhi has 2 and a half years. It's not rocket science.
Because a Sanchez is his last few months of a contract is worth more than fecking double as Mhki with 2 years left imo. feck the contracts, he's twice the player.

Sold them Silvestre, Welbeck and Mikhi, and got RVP and Sanchez.

The word "ridiculous" can't even describe this.
Ah but they refused to sell us Debuchy. They really got one over on us there...

Mkhi hasn't set the world alight at Man Utd, not many goals or assists. He's also 29, if he flops for us it will be impossible to sell him.

Moreover a team with Ozil, Mkhi, Lacazette, Ramsey and Iwobi will suffer defensively. Especially one like Arsenal. I would have rather lost Sanchez for nothing to be honest. At least then the club could have saved face and said that it was his choice to go to Old Trafford. Now, we're giving you our best player and potentially weakening ourselves in return.

Madness.
Blame Wenger for not accepting an unbelievable £60m during August for a player with a year left on his contract, someone who was never gonna extend with Arsenal, someone who's basically downed tools this season unless I'm mistaken (I don't watch Arsenal). What was the point in keeping an unhappy player until now?

Mkhi is a £30m player in this market imo. Sanchez is an £80m player with a normal contract but once a player goes under a year it always goes down massively.

This VR thing isn't all that good, tbh.

I think Wenger didn't sell to City last summer was because he didn't have time to find a replacement.

It's City's fault they made the bid only at the last minute. Reckon Wenger would have sold if they had bid at a sensible time.

Imagine passing on £60m (almost twice the previous record for a player with 1 year left on his contract) and ending up with just Mkhi a few months later. They could have bought Auba or almost anyone with that money. Sad!

Jesus wept. Mkhi’s worth £0, according to this genius.
Yea it is a bit ridiculous, we swapped Mkhi for Sanchez. Mkhi had 2.5 years left on his contract, his marketprice is surely around £35m, so we paid £35m (or whatever you would value Mkhi at) for Sanchez and not 0£. On top of that It seems that we had to also buy out Mkhi's contract to get him to agree to switch to Arsenal. I don't know what his salary is but I've been reading amounts between 140k and 200k per week so if it is true we bought his 2.5 year contract out than that would have cost us somewhere between £18m-£26m. That is not taking into account whatever amount we agreed to pay Sanchez as a signing fee, it is not taking into account how much money we are paying to Felicevich (Sanchez is agent) and it is also possible we are paying something to Railoa to make this swap deal happen. All that ofcourse on top of making Sanchez one of the best paid players in the world (his salary will be huge).

This deal is an absolute steal but to say we are getting Sanchez for free is really ridiculous.

And after all that, also ignoring the fact that no player in history has ever moved for as much as the equivalent of 25m with just 5 months left on his contract.
Exactly. We've lost an asset worth at least £25m in the current market, even if the Sanchez signing on fee is £10m, plus £10m for the agent, it's cost the club £45m minimum. Still a good deal, but not 'free'.

Jesus we must be paying him well if he can afford a Bentley flying car, they're not out for another 20 years.

We're finally getting a few hours break from the media hysteria and now Neil Ashton and co are stopping by here also.
