I didn’t watch the game but conceding 2.36xG to Forest is completely nuts.

We conceded around the same to Brentford in the first weeks nightmare.

This thread was working perfectly with @Pexbo as the OP so the mods have decided to tempt fate by changing OP to someone like... Colin?

so, where were we? ah, right
Utter utter shite. Beating City one weekend and losing to Nottingham the next is making relive some bad memories from years back.
...
Yeah I just don't get it. We have an injury crisis yet still leave Henderson and TAA out, and take of Firmino when 1-0 down.
Some really bemusing decisions from Klopp this season. It's baffling.
Trent isn't fully fit Hendo is 32 and Bobby is 31. What would you prefer him to do play Bobby every minute of every game.
Jesus christ, they're 32 and 31. Not 40 and 39. That's not an excuse.
Agreed we needed investment but if those players out there aren't capable of getting something against one of the worst sides to come up in recent seasons, they should just retire on the spot.
...
Motm: Alisson

Says it all
Apart from Alisson, not one player deserves any credit. Dreadful performance.
...
The only surprise is that people didn’t see this coming.
Had a fiver on it myself after seeing the teams
Call me Nostradamus because I was convinced we’d beat City and I was also convinced we’d lose today. Not really a betting person otherwise I could’ve made a few bob.
...
This team is not making top 4.
Nope and we don’t deserve to either on that performance
we’ve gone from heavy metal football to muzak
Bland, passionless, predictable, no pace, no power, nobody willing to take a risk, paint by numbers football
We have to stop the injuries and we have to reinforce the squad in january, we might not even finish in the european places this season let alone the champions league
...
Anfield extension won't do us good if we are playing in Europa league
For feck shake VVD. How on earth did you miss them chances?

That was a poor performance as they come from us.
Forest are a championship side. We should still have won that even with injuries IMO.
...
cried a little inside when Ox came on, whilst chasing a goal.
If he was a car he would need to be recommissioned before being allowed on the road.
If he was a car, he would have been sold for parts now. And half of our midfield too are in a similar boat.
...
Injuries or no injuries that was totally unacceptable. Such a sloppy attitude from so many players pretty much all season. Senior players we've come to rely upon as well. That was embarrassing. Absolutely fecking embarrassing. Just wish this season would piss off already.
Lost to Bottom of the league team. Incredible!
Not one player in that starting 11 seems to have the ability to play a through ball. We had no creativity whatsoever

The attitude isn't good now either. Fabinho has been atrocious so far this season.

Hard to believe how a team can go from being world beaters to incapable of beating that shite we played today. One extreme to the other like the season before last.
I was in England, we won even against City. I am back in my home country, and it's really sadden me to see this. Devastating effect to my heart, mood and my lovely weekend.

This is ssssoooo depressing.
I've considered that Kouyate to be one of the shittest players to ever grace this league, big fecking useless gobshite, and we've just made him look like Lothar Matthaus
...
Third game in 6 days, with a ton of injuries. Expected that performance
Billy Bull....no one saw that coming regardless of the fixture-list or injuries....this Forest side are mid-table Championship level...that performance was absolutely feckin abysmal
...
So many players look like they are just past their best and going through the motions. They know it themselves and they don’t believe in themselves anymore either.

It’s so painful watching us now.
Weekend ruined. Win the early game and you can look forward to the rest knowing some will drop points. Now I couldn’t give a feck and whatever the results, they’ll annoy me.
fecking scab wankers.
Such a horrible feeling this. Taking you up and then slamming you to the floor
Been few and far between over the last 5 years
In fact it’s almost 90’s like
Who knew the same system we used against City might have some flaws when it came to playing against eleven players camped in their own box.
...
James Milner starting game after game tells us all we need to know about how squad development has been criminally under funded by FSG.
Or you know, Klopp is too loyal. It can only be one or the other
...

Going into the most congested season ever with an old injury ravaged team. It is a carbon copy of 20/21. Injuries in defence meant we overplayed Hendo and Fabinho until they got injured. This season we didn't even have enought midfield players to play a 3 in midfield. So we change formation to a 4-4-2 that requires 4 of our 5 forwards to play until they get injured.

You can't continually have the 14th or 15th Net spend every season and stay at the top.
The fact we had to play Jones for the full 90 is worrying in itself. Lad is only just coming back off an injury and he wasn’t great either, dwells on the ball and takes an age to release. Then we’ve got Fabinho next to him who bizarrely seems to have aged about 40 years since last season.
watch them lose 7-0 to Arsenal in a week and piss us some more. On a secind thought, I'd love Arsenal to keep winning.
...
I think the real problem is those dreadful white kits.

They look like shit, they play like shit.
depressed after that.
Bring on ajax. Into the c*nts!
...
How do you expect to win wearing that away kit it's hideous
This comment is up there with todays tactics
...
We knew we were out of the title race, it's as if we needed a confirmation today.
It genuinely looks like this team needs about 11 new players, it genuinely feels like a new team entirely is needed.
The way things are looking it really feels like the Goalie is the only reliable position we have and we need close to an overhaul everywhere else. Thing is though, if we need money to buy players, Alisson probably the only place we can get it
We look a mess. Can we just go ahead and miss out on top 4 officially so we don't even have to bother with the league anymore. We have so much fixture congestion we need to feck a few competitions off with our seemingly threadbare squad, and we don't appear to be able to do shit in the league consistently, so yeah when should we decide to largely feck it off in favor of other competitions
What happens in our training ?
Do we hit the players with hammers in the legs and see if they are ok for Saturday
I’ve never known a team get injuries like us
We lacked quality and cohesion but that comes as no surprise given the line up so cant be too angry. The players tried, missed good chances and got sucker punched - one of those days.
We have a bloated squad but in reality it is full of players that
- Look battle worn: Trent, Gomez, Henderson, Milner, Fabhino, Firmino
- injury prone: Matip, Gomez, Melo, Thiago, Keita, Ox, possibly Jota
- Young players that don't seem ready to hit the ground running: Ramsay, Jones, Cavalho, possibly Nunez
Too many injury prone, battle weary players combined with an intense style of play is going to mean we will have more games like this today. Doesn't look good for top 4
Klopp taking the piss out of Gomez for his crap footwork towards the end said everything we need to know - he is fed up with weak minded fools as we are.
...
don’t know how we’ve gone from 94pts to looking like it’s the Europa league for us

Mané is not peak Lionel Messi. Something extremely fecking weird is happening
Yea makes no sense. Seems like the players aren't interested in playing anyone that isn't Man City.

Anyone got any tips on how to finally give up watching football, it's harder than stopping smoking.
...
Was in a state of disbelief a while after Virgil's free header in the first half. The second one in injury time made it even worse. You can't pass up those chances when the opposition is so poor at defending set pieces.
Mo couldn’t even be bothered to move from his one spot. He was the most disappointing.
I used to get annoyed at lack of effort from players, but now I just remind myself that these clowns get to go home to their million pound houses and don’t care, so feck them.
I blame it on our away kit.
feck this shit!!! Weekend, ruined.
How on earth, from the heroic action against City, we could be like a bunch of impotent sperms? I just can't believe it.

Unbelievable.
Could list loads of problems but how have we still not replaced Wijnaldum
January if we don’t spend, it’s going have to be a massive summer.

Milner, Keita and Ox will all be out of contract.
Thiago injury prone
Henderson past his best.
Jones not progressed since coming through

Midfield is a shambles and doesn’t help trying to transform Elliot into one because atm it’s not working.(even though he has been giving his all)

On Klopp

Logged back in and there are convos about Klopp's position being questioned, for bad or good. Why? cant we concentrate on watching him with Liverpool, believers and that, that is no longer a battle cry. It should be gospel. Jurgen is us and we are him. drop the shite talk.
I don’t give a feck if we’re relegated this season. Klopp stays as long as he wants to and needs to be properly backed to rebuild his team. What FSG have been doing past few years is shocking and they milked this team dry while keeping Klopp permanently underfunded. feck them and everyone gently raising doubts about this man’s ability. feckers.
If Klopp were ever to be sacked I would genuinely hope for a Hodgson-esque signing (Thomas Frank fits the bill here). Just to punish the backstabbing pricks that wanted him gone, just like Rafa.
Unless your name is Karius you mean?
We always sing our “You’ll never walk alone” anthem at full pelt at the start and end of games, however I do often wonder whether the words being sung actually are understood by our modern day fans.
I remember when Klopp said that its harder for a club to sell all the players and get new ones and its easier to just change manager. This was at Dortmund.
Anyone criticizing at this point needs to remember that we are in this shape because the owners didn't give him any money to refresh an ageing midfield.
Nice atmosphere building in here tonight.
Back klopp and he will deliver, end of.
Put him in charge of city, chelsea or Man Utd with basically unlimited funds and he would be winning everything in sight, season after season
Have we had a manager finish 7th or below and keep his job beyond the first season or two (when one could reasonably make the case of still building a team)? I'm not remembering if so. Rafa was sacked his first year outside of top 4 since his first year, IIRC. Rodgers was all but sacked after finishing 6th(?). Houllier I don't think ever finished as low as 7th. Souness was sacked midway through a season that finished 8th or something.
If they got rid of Klopp, there would be riots. Not even an exaggeration. I’m guessing there would be a mass walk out at the ground? For me, he is untouchable. He’s my Bill Shankly. I love the man.

Speaks massive volumes when the only player giving his all for the team is a 19 year old. Elliot looked like the only player in white who wanted to win and gave a shit about losing. Apart from Becker, the whole defence has just been horse shit.
2 top 4 rivals are playing against each other and we couldn't even capitalise on it by beating a championship side that is no better than Rangers.
...
Definitely a transition season. The young players don't have the consistency of a top 4 side yet. The older players don't have the fitness.
Yeah this ain't a transition season, it's a decline season that will hopefully spark a transition season.
...
Carvalho, Jones and Elliot don't get into that Forest side.
You can’t be serious
Whilst they may well come good we spent around £10m on those three players. Look at the young talent Arsenal have at their disposal in those areas and then look at how much they have spent.
Think back to our peak side under Klopp and tell me where these players make sense?
None of them fit our model.
They're too slow to play in the front line and none have the pace, power or physicality to be effective in the 433 in midfield.
Carvalho is currently looking like a downgrade on Minamino.
...
The other ridiculous thing about this situation is we now have to look at a fecking massive outlay to fix this. If we strengthened on top it's a gradual piece by piece effort and people are easier to integrate. This is now a team that needs circa £150m of investment in 3-5 players, all of whom would need to hit the ground running.

I can't see us getting top 4 after that to be honest.
Why are we the only club in this league that can’t spend money? FSG have to be the worst owners in this league for milking there club.
Hopefully we sign 21 players over the next two transfer windows like the team that beat us today did.
Expected a loss, wasn’t surprised at how it panned out. We have problems, pretty much all available problems. This season is a write off, hopefully it sobers up our fecking owners.
...
The owners have managed to grow the clubs revenue to where we are now to their credit one of the richest clubs in the world whilst simultaneously convincing supporters were skint, you couldn’t make it up
There horrible, I don’t see why they can’t spend and still make a nice profit for themselves.
I can’t see them keeping us for long because surely there not going to keep us, while our value is lowered!
...
How do you keep spouting the same bs in thread after thread?
Henderson has been one of our better players in the last 3 games.
Sorry Jordan but you haven't been.
Build a fecking Declan Rice shrine and pray.
...
Champions league or bust then.
That was embarrassing today.
To many players are old, injury prone and we need a clear out and new blood coming in.
You can't play Klopp's type of football with this squad.
Hopefully he'll be backed financially and will stay around to re-build as re-build we must.
5 league games until Jan transfer window, 6 if you consider 2jan too early for new players. 18 points.
The hunger is gone. The legs are gone. That was absolutely fecking atrocious.
I swear we have the worst record in the league Vs last-placed teams. Can't believe we can't put teams like this away.
Forest were too quick for us in their counter attacks.
We have the better players however they're getting on a bit now and we paid the price today.
...
Something has changed mentally, not sure if it's hunger gone or plain old arrogance.
The mentality monsters are no more.
If our players can only get up for the likes of city, then we definitely have a problem.
...
Few mates (fans of other teams) have said our players hunger has gone, they don’t want it as much because they’ve won everything. I’m not having that, I 100% don’t think it’s that. It’s because we don’t refresh, we have an ageing midfield. We’ve refreshed the forward areas but the midfield is stale. The likes of city are constantly freshening things up.
For me its the lack of competition. They know if they stay fit they will play.
...
Awful performance, we have become a shadow of our recent self. Harks back to the days when we were done by christmas, raising our game for when the big boys come and then getting done over by dross the next week
Funny thing, Kroos is out of contract in summer. But I'm sure we wouldn't be going for him bc he's "old" and "can't run".
I’d swap him in a heartbeat for ox and Keita, there’s one thing for sure, he’d play more games than the pair of them put together and put in some solid performances. He is at the wrong end of the age scale for us though.
...
Nothing wrong we the squad size, it's just injurie prone and old.
well if we remove the injury prone and old players out of it how many do we need?
A full team
...
I'd pick 2: Tielemans, and Marcus Thuram. But there are quite a few more that would be good enough to play in PL for a top half club.
Thielemans would have been a very Gini style signing. Wouldn't have got the juices running, but could have given us some much needed high level stability at a solid price.
Been shite this season though
Prob just wants out and head is gone. He's a solid player.
...
Forrest have been critesited for buying too many players this summer.
I wish we had owners who could have supported our manager like that. Cooper is a lucky guy.
...
This one of them games that we gonna look at the end of the season where every wins matters and regret how did we drop points.
We've had about 7 or 8 of them already.
...
ESL would've ruined football forever. However I'm tempted to see how many people have changed their minds after seeing City and PSG having unlimited funds. I'm sure the backlash for the ESL will be lower if they brought back the idea again.
I want FFP to actually work.
I want FSG to invest.
Both are unlikely.
...
We need another 2017-18 window. Salah, VVD, Big Al, Fabinho.
We just need to convince Barca to give us another £142m.
...
I'm off out on the streets of Boston,if i see John Henry i'll tell him y'all said hi ya!
Don't ask him to get the drinks in, you'll end up with tap water.
Tell the fecker to get Jude and Kylian signed up
...
Hopefully, he doesn't but if Jurgen walked tomorrow what would our identity be?
We don't seem to have one now?
Jekyell and Hyde?
More the Invisible Man today.
The Grinch for our Christmas fixtures?
...
The harsh truth is that we weren’t good enough today and Alison was our best player.
Lost for words, apart from these seven.
back to today's game.
after hours of racking my brain I've realized what the silver lining is ....
Notts Forest are total shite. that's the silver lining.
becoz if we'd faced any decent team today we'd have been fecking humiliated.
wth??
Only thing that will save this season is if Putin hits the button…

Chelsea - United
That Chelsea side is shocking but hopefully they can get a win.
Both sides are quite average but still above us
What could possibly happen in the chelsea United game to make up for the last 4 hours?
Anyone else in just the worst fecking rotten pissy mood? feck.
I wish for a crazy chaotic game with lots of controversy in the United and chelsea game. Few straight cards etc
I've had united twat fans giving me stick so from a personal POV them getting humiliated would have me feeling less wretched, albeit not exactly "happy."
If they could both lose then it would be a start. Failing that I'll take a Chelsea win, because they'll fall off a cliff eventually and we really don't want the red mancs thinking they're any good again.
Chelsea man utd, no bad result here, somebody’s bubble is bursting.
A 0-0 draw would be nice
That patchy beard isn't fooling anyone, you fat feck.
United winning would be annoying.
...
This is fecking dull
Someone chin someone
OK I just chinned someone - did it help?
If it was Martin Tyler yes
Doesn’t sound like you got him thou
...
Luke Shaw has the football IQ of a baby hamster.
We need an entire culture change of referees who don’t buy Fernandes types bullshit diving
How can you give that as a free kick ffs
...
How on earth are both these teams above us? What a turd this game is. Best moment was the camera panning to Reese James's appalling hairdo
Did you watch us ?
Because we’re worse than both of them right now.
I’ve only just looked at the league table and realised how much more irritating the loss was today. Those 3 points would have put us back amongst it. We’re 7 points off Spurs in 3rd now
...

Rashford has the first touch of a donkey.
...
Azpilicueta is like the third most punchable twat in this. Bruno, then the Bargain Richarlison with his giant nostrils, then Azpi. C*nts.
Casemiro and his mumpy face goes close.
...
Sancho is such an overrated footballer.
Not watching but seems like the Mancs are dominating on the stats.
...
The same way I dominate my toilet when I go for a shite
...
In fairness United have looked the much better team
They do over elaborate it in and around the box. Otherwise good in possession.
In fairness, they're still c*nts
. ...
Auba looking slow and clumsy
I think you mean shit
...
Antony just has a face that screams "Manc c*nt" doesn't he?
It seems really important to Ten Hag that people know he has a nice watch
Aubamayang needs hooking off

Been a ridiculous joke
...
I’ve decided I want Chelsea to win , feck man utd
We all decided that at birth
...
Sancho was absolutely dreadful, again.
Jadon Sancho messing up basic 5 yard balls..
Overrated English players are really dime a dozen..
...
That’s varane’s World Cup over , luckily France got Saliba .
Surprised we didn't look at Varane, would fit in well.
Who knew having a stupid World Cup in the middle of a season would be missing so many players?
Hope the thing effectively turns into a load of B teams.
Aubameyang, where passes go to die.
Imagine we took advantage of both teams dropping points. Oh wait!
Poor match , two bang average teams
Bruno against azpi. The battle of the c*nts
Hasselbaink was saying pre-game that Mount has it in him to reach KDB levels.
Any wonder he keeps getting sacked?
If we're being completely honest, both of these look better than us at the moment. And since the season began really. The top four is going to be very difficult to get into.
Scottish Tin Tin at it again
Absolute fecking carthorse, that lad.
Salah doesn’t get that, no chance.
Penalty to Chelsea for grappling off a set piece- be really nice if refs give that more consistently
I'd rather United lose but I hope this twat misses
United players crowding the ref for the most obvious, stonewall decision you'll see all weekend. Despicable bellends, the lot of them.
I hate Chelsea of course but Tyler and Neville sound like they’re going to cry. Imagine if United had scored an 87th minute winner.
Neville

‘Optically it looked bad’

Yes it’s a bit unfair for this ref to be looking with his eyes
A poisonous Ronaldo social media post about this defeat will make me feel marginally better about this afternoons result. You know he wants to.
Oh well, a draw isn’t bad.
Has a player ever scored with a hamster cheek before?
That is absolutely not all over the line
Why aren’t they showing the goal line technology view?
Notice how they didn't do the forensic overhead shot to show it? Bent to all feck.
Christ they show those goal line photos when goals are a foot over usually, where is it this time?
They’ve changed that on MS Paint.
That wasn’t a goal - didn’t go over the line
Oh and there it is, they show it, and it's over the line. The constant conspiracy theory bleating is so small time.
Well fair fecks, at least they showed it eventually. In the circumstances I'll take that result, both are still very much catchable if we get our act together.
...
Not sure what to make about that result. Probably the best if the three but I just wanted some other twats to feel miserable tonight as well to be honest.
Chelsea fans get to feel miserable, and Yet United didnt win, so not all bad.
...
I dont care about United or Chelsea but this is a major issue..
How can they dissalow in one game and give it in another..
That ball was not over the line 100%, maybe 97% but not all ower, there should be camera views from inside the goal corner / top
The technology is 100%.
If it’s over then it’s a goal but that looked dodgy as feck.
...
Can't even laugh at Utd getting beat.
...
It's actually incredible we are only 5 pts off the 4th.
I wish we played against teams like City every week, it seems like we don't take bottom half teams seriously.
City are a lot more open than other teams.
...
What’s happening?
A pumpkinhead Halloweened a header that almost went over the line, which was close enough to give United a draw.
...
Keane is about to go for Neville there, and he “doesn’t care what man utd fans think, most of them have no clue”
Love Roy keane , “scholes refused to play a game, rio missed a drugs test, Eric kicked a fan”
That’s his way of defending Ronaldo.

I've finally reached my football zen level that I can read these RAWK quotes not with disbelief or anger but by laughing my tits off. Scottish tin tin

Still only 5 pts off top 4 - that’s actually pretty unbelievable since I barely remember them winning a game.

From here to there
When they start having to make up names for our players and are calling them average rather than shit.... you know we're starting to worry them.

Our last average teams (according to RAWK) won 13 titles and 2 CL.

Outside of arsenal, city and spurs the rest of dropped a lot of points. We gave everyone a 2 match headstart for instance. It's been a funny season so far but imo more interesting than recent years

They’re such an overly dramatic fanbase

No other set of fans in world football behave like them. They’re awful when they’re winning and even worse when they’re losing.

Everything is always someone else’s fault. Always.

Funny reading their posts about Liverpool felt like reading ours about United in recent times - the players not caring, the owners etc

Long may it continue for them

I love the nicknames they come up with

It's a big part of why I enjoy these threads. RAWK is much better when Liverpool are shite and these guys are lashing out at everyone else for it.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...

I’ve watched the ‘Darwin, Darwin Nunez’ one so many times… my girlfriend was literally crying with laughter watching it.

It’s really fecking odd how he sings with vibrato and power in his voice, as if he can sing well, yet is completely and utterly out of tune AND monotone.

For me, it’s up there with the famous Palace gif. Equally fascinating, pathetic, disturbing and funny.

It so fits that he has a shit tribal band around his upper arm.
