Yep. One constant has been that whenever some news breaks that people get excited about, his smug little face will pop up playing it all down

“The Qatar bid will be low wahhhh. Nothing will happen tomorrow wahhhhh. The deadline will be extended wahhhhhh. More Americans will try to buy you wahhhhhh”

Just find yourself a woman Ben you Cnut
He did the same with Frenkie De Jong and other United transfers back in the summer.

He is like a hemorrhoid that won't clear up.

Due to speculation or do they expect the deal to be provisionally agreed very soon?
If you look at the news coming out, market pretty much targets the valuation in the news.

An auction starting between Qatar and Saudis would be so fecking ridiculous. First we'd essentially have the choice between to state ownerships. Then we'd also have the Glazers having money rain on them. fecking hell

Saudi group did bid for Chelsea but they couldnt match American consortium.
Would take Qatar every day over Saudi. PIF owns Newcastle and any private entity from Saudi will make us vulnerable. Saudi bid should be opposed considering the future of the club

Please, please, please not state ownership.
It’s wrong on so many levels.
Do the fans even get a say in this?
United has enough revenue to basically run itself if we aren’t paying debts off.
So please let it be Ratcliffe or similar.

Do we think the Qataris would blow Saudis out of the water?

It's Saudi v Qatar. Oh well.
Not sure how serious the Saudis are though but yeah pretty ridiculous. Although I wouldn't rule a consortium out that we haven't even heard of yet. These M&A transactions can be full of surprises

Incredible a 5bln opening bid. $6bln and a world record. 1 bln for each sibling.

Here we go boys better get used to the new owners and a new dawn.

Ratcliffe with the murmurings of the bank's feels like a sidestep. At this point just hope the interest from the ME is concluded.

God I can't wait to see the back of the greedy old feckers after all these years. It all feels too good to be true

Yes considering Qatar is state sponsored bid while PIF has categorically denied bidding for United and mentioned they will keep Newcastle as their only investment during the world cup. Saudi bid for Chelsea was bunch of not so rich investors. If its the same then they wont be able to outbid INEOS and Qatar bid

No winters here!
Normally it would have been such a happy occasion to finally see the back of Glazers. But the outcome of this sale is going to be so depressing that I already hate opening this thread. Only ones benefitting will be the villains such as Glazers and some despotic regime using us to wash some of their dirty laundry.

If only Glazers weren't so greedy and a normal rich billionaire could have bought us instead. Or if only the PL had some teeth and had barred state ownership (direct or disguised) specially by regressive states.

Sounds reasonable. Will be interesting to see what the Americans come up with if at all.
