And the supposed front is known and in business in the UK. That's the part that I don't understand, why would influential people in the UK be difficult toward someone like Hamad Al Thani or his son when they are in constant business with them? I could understand if it was a nobody from the UK standpoint but it's not the case. Do we think that they would tarnish their relationshio with him for no apparent gains?Which makes no sense. They're hardly strapped for cash.
And we'll be able to watch them rack up silverware with a great view, from our seats up in the moral high ground, far away from trophies.Tweet

it's they're turn for some brinkmanship. Take the cash or else we'll screw Hotspurs over. IIf this latest tweet has any substance then Sheikh Jassim or Qatar seem to be searching for reasons/excuses for letting Sir Jim win the auction. I think they can do much better with 6 billion than throw it at a football club.
Building hospitals and schools is an eternal investment.

I'm sure they will move on to a new club but this is speculative bullshit as always from the express. More likely they'd go back for Liverpool.Tweet

I mean he doesn't even have a season ticket at a london club, so you're right, he doesn't qualify as a real United fanCan’t be much of a United ‘fan’ then
In the absence of any evidence to the contrary and taking into account the facts I have presented, then you should be open to the possibility that this is indeed a private bid.Rather than going over this again (it has been done to death, and no: I can't provide with you undeniable, incontrovertible evidence that this is a state bid, you know this already), let me ask you this:
Are you against state ownership? If I could provide you with undeniable evidence that it's actually the state of Qatar bidding for Manchester United, would you then be against it?
Or the team in London with the best stadium in the country. Spurs are ripe for someone to turn them into a sugar daddy clubI'm sure they will move on to a new club but this is speculative bullshit as always from the express. More likely they'd go back for Liverpool.

Yeah you could, and you'd be right. Musk had to borrow and finance to buy Twitter, a mere fraction of his assumed 'net worth' compared to what United's value is (even simply just buying most of Glazer's stock) is to Ratcliffe's.I'm not a Ratcliffe guy, but you could say that about Elon or Bezos or anyone on the Forbes Richest list. Most of their wealth is based upon assumed value of their companies.
This may be an odd concept to you, but I want my team to win.Or you could go and support Spurs if you only want winning with oil money
Define winning. Is winning really winning? Can't winning sometimes be a kin to losing? Who decides? This may be an odd concept to you, but I want my team to win.
Lovely, lovely stuff ..I could imagine that sketch but with one of the Glazers in his place.
"It's still nil-nil, Chris!"
"You're at the game?"
"...Yes..."
"The game at Old Trafford?"
"...Indeed..."
"But United have just scored."
"...oh yes, Chris. Wow! The crowd are making the stadium around me shake. It's really quite something."
"Who scored the goal, Avram?"
"....I think the connection is a li-"
"Avram! Who scored the goal for United?"
".... Cristiano Ronaldo...?"
"You're not at the game are you, Avram? You're IN FLORIDA washing your ponytail aren't you?"
".....sorry, Chris."

Don't fancy their chances much if this is true. The Qatari's offer is believed to be significantly improved on his first, although it is still thought to value United at a lower price than Ratcliffe.
Valuation of share price thought to remain below SJR
I've had that feeling since day one.I don't believe in these Qatar'is at all. They seem very sketchy and might not have the money at all.
Because regardless of what the glazers claim, they don’t want the rest of the money in 2-4 years time. What’s the point if it’s still below what SJR is offering the Glazers?
I believe that both bidders have had to show proof of funds to get to this stage.I don't believe in these Qatar'is at all. They seem very sketchy and might not have the money at all.
Who’s telling them this?STILL below Sir Jim
Can clearly see which side of the fence The Times are on. Why that picture and not the one of the fellas holding up the Qatari flag at OT?Tweet

It’s for 100% of the shares. That makes a big difference.STILL below Sir Jim
Yeah, it’s not less to Glazers is it? It’s just less if the rest of the shares are included? It’s for 100% of the shares. That makes a big difference.
