Crushing Souls.
I think it's important to remember that Madrid can easily buy Rodriguez and Kronos without breaking their usual summer budget.
Monaco paid 40m for Rodriquez and don't need to sell. Madrid will need to make them an offer significantly better than 40m to get him. As for how it affects Di Maria yes they could easily hold onto him and add Kroos/Rodriguez but Perez isn't stupid he's not turning down 40m and a big wage earner who could also upset the dressing room. They could have held onto Ozil if they wanted.

Perez doesnt like players that look like Birds. Unfortunately, both Ozil & Di Maria look like Owls..

I've no idea what you mean kind sir - i only read "Mills & Boon" man & of course the enchanting "Midget-Porn Monthly" supplement..

Mills & Boon - classics. Brings back memories. Nostalgia. Remember my eldest sister reading them in her late teens, early Tweens. Like 20 odd years ago.

Stay off that Verne Troy porn RHD!

Kompany always annoyed me, not him but the commentators. His name's fecking Vincent. Vin-cent.

But oh no, "It's cleared off the line by Van-sant, Kum-poniee.."

Eddin Azzar.

Ugh.
Did you also have a problem with Onree instead of Henry?

They'll just sell the Madrid Council some club-shop carrier bags for £150m & the Council will loan them back to them..
They don't need to do tricks like this anymore. There revenues are absolutely mammoth. The Galactico policy paid off.

Not as much, because he didn't spell his first name Terry and yet ask us to call him Thierry.
But he does spell his last name Henry and ask people to call him Onree instead of Henry.

If we did sign Di Maria, are you going to call him Ain-Jo?

I can handle that, it's his surname, he can pronounce it how he wants. But Hah-mezz and Van-sont? Not on my watch, godammit.

As I said earlier, I hope you don't plan to call Di Maria Ain-Jo if we did sign him.

So have we in sponsorship in recent years but whilst still winning alot...
Sure, though our revenues are way off there's. The other benefit of buying the worlds best players is the next generation want to sign with you and so on.

They draw the worlds best players and bleed the revenue, for example they have a stake in the revenue created by Ronaldo's image rights.
We as a club are run entirely differently, Ronaldo if he signed back to united could afford a dramatic wage cut as he would gain back full control of his image rights thus increasing his income.
The kicker is in the taxman and Real have the upper hand in this case ;)

The TV rights in Spain are shared out very differently (basically them and Barca get it all) to England which gives them a huge advantage in this revenue stream, everywhere else we are close to been on a par, and blow them away with shirt sponsor, and even more so with 'to do' kit sponsor.

Just don't like the way they go about things, but I suppose this is working for them just now so hard to argue too much.

We really really need to get this guy if he's available, he can win games on his own and is perfect for the Premier League. He is only 26 and we can get at least 5/6 good years out of him. I really don't think 50million Euros is that bad of a price for him.

Fire-power in the final 3rd win you championships and titles, adding Di Maria to Van Persie, Mata, Hernandez, Kagawa, Januzaj and Nani would give us the best attack in the league, easily.

We really do need good wide men, almost as much as we need good midfielders. (Remember we won the 2011 and 2013 titles with an average midfield).

This is the weirdest thing to be wind up about. How do you pronounce Javier ? " Jay vier " ?
People getting annoyed about players' names being pronounced correctly...only the English would complain about that

I don't get the Di Maria hype.
He was head and shoulders the best player in a Champions League final. Coming off a brilliant season. He's frustrating, like all wingers seem to be these days, but he's seriously talented.
