We took control of the game when he moved into his actual position on the right wing. I’m starting to think lots of people in this thread aren’t actually watching the games.

I would like to see Sancho in this current version of Manchester United. No way. Anthony has had a better season than Sancho’s combined.
Anthony with a striker will unleash his creativity.
No, we were already well in the ascendancy when he came on.More like when Garnacho came in and offered an actual threat.
Really? That is a bit far fetched. I’d say based on the very limited time Antony has been here Sancho has shown he is better than what Antony has done so far, at the moment both seem to be struggiling from the same issue on the pitch which is a fear of going past someone or making the right choice when they do. Also Sancho start of the season was easily one of our best players. No way. Anthony has had a better season than Sancho’s combined.

I've seen him do things at Ajax which I simply haven't seen him doing at United and that has little to do with weaker opposition in the Dutch league. By the way, I need one more like to post in the match day forum so if you would be a darling that would be swell. Finally a sensible take from someone who knows the player well.
Also, if anyone can get this guy firing it's the bald genius currently in charge
I would like a journalist to ask ETH if it could have to do with certain instructions and what those instuctions would be.His workrate and pressing are why he's getting in at the moment. He's our player, he's ETH's and so he'll be given plenty of time.
I am baffled as to where the take-ons went though. Didn't have like the most in Europe last season? He barely does 1 a match now. Very strange.
I'd be happy to help, but I'm not seeing any options to like posts. How do I do it?I've seen him do things at Ajax which I simply haven't seen him doing at United and that has little to do with weaker opposition in the Dutch league. I have no idea either. I thought I simply didn't have the option yet as a newbie.I'd be happy to help, but I'm not seeing any options to like posts. How do I do it?
Just looked through all my settings and not seeing anything that would let me like a post. Sorry, if someone can advise me what I need to do I'll help you out.I have no idea either. I thought I simply didn't have the option yet as a newbie.
Sancho had a couple of good games. Let’s not get carried away.Sancho was doing more earlier in the season than Antony's doing now
Only scouts can like posts and get you promoted.I have no idea either. I thought I simply didn't have the option yet as a newbie.
Ah ok, well that makes sense.Only scouts can like posts and get you promoted.
Saying he was doing more than Antony is hardly getting carried away. He was.Sancho had a couple of good games. Let’s not get carried away.
He probably didn't realise the difference in quality between the Eridivisie and the PL.Really can't help questioning why ETH was so desperate to spend such a huge fee on him, of course nobody knows how he will work out in the next few years but still he seems like a similar player to Sancho with a seemingly stronger mentality and work rate. And by that i mean he isn't that pacey or direct he likes to slow it down and cut inside to find a shot or pass etc, which may be especially problematic with how one footed he is.
You preferred Elanga?Really can't help questioning why ETH was so desperate to spend such a huge fee on him, of course nobody knows how he will work out in the next few years but still he seems like a similar player to Sancho with a seemingly stronger mentality and work rate. You didn't if you never visited the Maguire thread, because i've seen the "80M fraud" written hundreds of times on this forum. So many are obsessed with Antony's fee but I rarely hear Maguire's fee being discussed.
Fair enough but from my experience of talking to football fans be it city or united fans I rarely hear them bring up Maguire's fee.You didn't if you never visited the Maguire thread, because i've seen the "80M fraud" written hundreds of times on this forum.
Sancho has never looked like one of our best players. Antony has shown more so far. Ask yourself this. After each Sancho performance, if ETH then started someone else over him, would you have screamed sacrilege?Really? That is a bit far fetched. I’d say based on the very limited time Antony has been here Sancho has shown he is better than what Antony has done so far, at the moment both seem to be struggiling from the same issue on the pitch which is a fear of going past someone or making the right choice when they do. Quite looking forward to the Sancho comeback because a performing Sancho and a performing Antony can only be good for the team.
Of course he has, he’s had very good games. At the start of the season for example. Antony has so far looked very average but again, he deserves time before any real judgments are made but from what I’ve seen from both Sancho has produced the better performances so far.Sancho has never looked like one of our best players. Antony has shown more so far. Ask yourself this. After each Sancho performance, if ETH then started someone else over him, would you have screamed sacrilege?
He has because of the way he harrasses opposition when they have possession. Sancho stands still with the ball at his feet, in order to set up a round of recycling possession just as much as Antony but he lacks Antony's defensive prowessOf course he has, he’s had very good games. At the start of the season for example. Antony has so far looked very average but again, he deserves time before any real judgments are made but from what I’ve seen from both Sancho has produced the better performances so far.
Exactly. Players like Rashford, Martial and Sancho are criticised for performances because we know what they are capable of. As far as Antony is concerned, this is different because we need him to become a better player than he was at Ajax (even just by looking at his contribution). I doubt think anyone here thinks we bought a winger for 80 million because he's good at defending and keeping the ball.Rashford did have some decent games for us in a few seasons for us before people wrote him off.
Of course, Anthony should be given more time but the situations are very different.
Because people still expect something from Antony. So many are obsessed with Antony's fee but I rarely hear Maguire's fee being discussed.
You'd have more chance to get "like" if posted more than 43 posts in almost 6 years.I have no idea either. I thought I simply didn't have the option yet as a newbie.
ETH seems like the type of football obsessed coach to be a fan of the EPL though especially given how knowledgable he was on United's struggles, if anything he may have just underestimated how much he might have struggled to adapt to the pace of the league much like Sancho. He probably didn't realise the difference in quality between the Eridivisie and the PL.
As far as i know only people with the "scout" user group can like posts, primarily their job to search through the newbie forum and find quality posters. In that sense its possible to get them in the mains but your posts have to be really rather good or informative to stand out.I have no idea either. I thought I simply didn't have the option yet as a newbie.
So true.Because people still expect something from Antony.
You’re saying that the bloke who has us level pegging with City was unaware that there’d be a significant distinction between the Eredivisie and the Premier League? He probably didn't realise the difference in quality between the Eridivisie and the PL.
And yet he's scored 5 goals for us with I think 4 of them being the game openers. The other one being that scorcher against City. He's also in the unenviable position of being the only Ten Hag signing not to hit the ground running.
