Didn't he look a lot more comfortable physically? I thought he looked sharper and quicker than the first few games.

Yeah, getting better now.Didn't he look a lot more comfortable physically? I thought he looked sharper and quicker than the first few games.
It was a combination of Hannibal and McTominay in there with him, the midfielders in this system are expected to work hard together off the ball, especially if the first phase of the press is broken in order to recover, and Eriksen's legs just won't carry him fast enough or far enough to make it work. In this system there just isn't room for a passenger in the middle of the park. Tonight those guys along with Casemiro ran for each other and that left each of them with smaller, more manageable areas to cover. He was better today because McTominay gets about the park a lot better to help him. We should be going with him and Amrabat in future.
Yeah, sometimes you can judge a DM by how the #10 on the other team did, same as with fullbacks and their opposing wingers, and in this case Ramsey had a good first half then totally disappeared after the break.Second half he was superb. Linking a lot of play, getting up and down (Rashford ignoring him after he made up that ground you could see pissed him off) and looked much fresher. Now we know it takes 6 games to lose the Rio belly.
Yes- he was good. Let’s hope he’s back.Didn't he look a lot more comfortable physically? I thought he looked sharper and quicker than the first few games.
I think he’d make a good number 10. Most South American and Italian CDM’s were originally number 10’s or forward players. Who ended up playing the director role in the cdm spot.Case started as a striker, thats his original position in his youth days.
ThisHear me out...
Amrabat as a 6 and Casemiro as the advanced 8...
