Amidst squeaky bums.
Haas were running on fumes when they did those times in testing, all on about five-lap stints. Ferrari did their quick, softest tyre times at various points on 10-lap runs meaning that no way did they have quali mode engaged. Mercedes blistered the softest compounds quite badly, so although the fundamentals of their car again make it the quickest (or so it looks), they may struggle with tyre management.

New tarmac, low temperatures. A number of teams reported blistering at Barcelona. I don't think it'll be a huge effect come Australia.

Got this from the Fantasy website I use.

Watching F1 Live
It's been getting more expensive to watch the races live, the only real option until recently has been Sky TV, their cheapest F1 package is £27.50 a month with an 18 month contract.

You can watch for free online if you can find a reliable stream, but there is another option that was launched quite recently.

NOW TV lets you watch the races live (It's the Sky F1 feed) for just £7.99 per race. It's the cheapest, most reliable option if you combine that with the free to view races on Channel 4. You don't need any expensive equipment (you can watch via a games console for example) and there is no contract. Click below for more details and to sign up.

For a limited time NOW TV are doing a special offer on a full F1 season pass, this lets you watch ALL races and qualifying sessions live plus the practise sessions. It's discounted to £150 for the full season - F1 Season Pass. The offer expires on 25th March so get in quick!

personally I would not pay that, if I did not have Sly Sports already.

Looks like us American fans will get the Sky Sports feed on ESPN. Race starts at 9:55pm and ends at 12. Hopefully we get a pre-race and post race round up. Something tells me ESPN will feck this all to hell.

Wow,that's a pretty steep price!

Is it worth seeing the procession we have these days at that price? Would rather just try finding a stream or watch the highlights later..

It's actually not that bad, last year if you didn't have Sky you'd have to pay £110 to watch the 10 races that weren't on C4. This year that would be £130 so you're essentially paying £20 more for 26 weeks of Sky Sports, which is pretty good if you like your football or whatever else. I imagine for many of us in the UK this will be the last year of watching regularly unless Liberty find a way to get out of the Sky contract.

Channel 4 have 10 races so that leaves 11 races to pay for. If I pay Now tv €10 for each race day that's €110 for the year.
I'll probably miss one or two races so I'd pay about €90 all together.
That's a no brainer for me, as long as the stream is high quality.

I can't wait for Sunday

I know we do the fantasy league, but I quite like the prediction game that autosport does also. I've created a RedCafe league if anyone wants to join: https://gppredictor.com/leagues/join/5aafc23c6cf9c42fd847b470
You predict the top-10, pole, fastest lap, and most positions gained every race weekend. Makes watching the midfield teams more fun.

Ricciardo has been given a 3 place grid penalty for not slowing down enough under a red flag. Apparently he did slow down but they displayed the wrong time on his steering wheel so the penalty is reduced from the standard 10 place penalty. He seems to have inherited Webber's luck at the Australian GP.

The onboard camera either needs to be repositioned (maybe even put on top of the halo) or removed altogether, it was painful when they cut to it and most of the screen was covered by the sodding halo.
