Would be awesome to see him in a faster car and how he does. Real happy for him!Didn't realise how young Ocon is he seems to have been around a while
He must be used to that. But no reason at all for anyone to boo him. And if they were proper racing fans, they would have enjoyed the close racing.Still the odd idiot booing Lewis.
Not surprising, but still embarrassing and pathetic. Thankfully it's the minority. And Lewis may very well have the last laugh, if not this year then in the next couple.Still the odd idiot booing Lewis.
In the pit yes,but not the formation lap, OK maybe not all Lewis, but he saw themv all pitting and the track was drying. The team told him rain was coming.
You called it.It should be Ocon but Alonso will win the public poll.
Nah, not even close. Ocon was faultless and the way Alonso held off Lewis in a far inferior car was fantastic.Lewis for driver of the day. He gave us a race and let us watch his masterclass today. If he didn't feck up by not pitting initially, he would have lapped everyone in an easy win but instead we got a great race today.
Would definitely make it more interesting that's for sure.F1 would be 800% better if the fastest cars started at the back and the slowest at the front.
Agreed, or every race be wetF1 would be 800% better if the fastest cars started at the back and the slowest at the front.
Lucky ocon, who said that?Christ we have some donkeys post on this thread, to many too mention. Hamilton lucky blar blar blar. Let's play the same game as the donkeys......
Icon lucky winner because if Alonso hadn't of held Hammy up he would of won race.
Too late for him once he saw them pitting them, he wouldn't have known that until he passed the pit lane at the lead driverIn the pit yes,but not the formation lap, OK maybe not all Lewis, but he saw themv all pitting and the track was drying.
70/30 Lewis.
“Not even close” is a bit of a stretch, although I would personally go Ocon —> Hamilton —> Alonso.Nah, not even close. Ocon was faultless and the way Alonso held off Lewis in a far inferior car was fantastic.
God awful.WOW they are ugly trophies.
Mine was more for him making the race entertaining. Race would have been boring if he pitted at formation lap like everyone else.Nah, not even close. Ocon was faultless and the way Alonso held off Lewis in a far inferior car was fantastic.
Yeah fair point.Too late for him once he saw them pitting them, he wouldn't have known that until he passed the pit lane at the lead driver
WOW they are ugly trophies.
They're the same every year pretty much, quite a tradition for the Hungary podium.God awful.
Yeah man, that was surreal seeing Hamilton starting off all by himself. I thought they knew it was going to rain again, but it ended up being a mess upCrazy race. I will never forget the day I saw only one car start the race with everyone else in the pits. What would’ve happened if Hamilton also pitted? Would the 5 red lights just go out? Imagine the scenes.
This season is very entertaining. Especially since I’m not that inclined for who wins it. Sure, I’d prefer Verstappen over Hamilton. But if it isn’t a Ferrari fighting for it, I don’t really care.
Oh and Alonso V Hamilton. That’s what fF1 should be about. Close wheel to wheel action. Hopefully 2022 lives up to its hype. (I highly doubt it)
Gave it his all, total exhausted.Lewis did not look well at all on that podium. Great drive from him.
No he has not. He's been quite fortunate in many respects though, the race he went out, Hamilton pressed a button and blew the chance to win, then this race he goes off, his car damaged, and Hamilton / Mercedes stuff up and cost him a more than likely easy win.
Using energy to cryi in the radio all the time does not help. Great driver he is but he is like a spoiled kid.Gave it his all, total exhausted.
Would not be shocked if he needed medical attention
So like every other F1 driver then?Using energy to cryi in the radio all the time does not help. Great driver he is but he is like a spoiled kid.
