Isn't she 22?I felt like a paedophile. It was revolting.

Agent work goes heavily into this. She’s an actress that will want to work afterwards. She had star power going in to season 8 that she will never have again. Agents will actively seek to further their clients careers. “You will present my client in a certain light” will be part of a contract. If she wants to be considered an adult actress and not a kid, a super straight-bat sex scene is an easy path. She's like 22, obviously it can seem kinda weird because we remember her as a kid when the show started but she's a fully-grown adult now and her character is presumably supposed to be of adult age as well.
It definitely didn't. She said herself in an interview that she thought D&D were pranking her when she saw the script. Apparently they also left it up to her to decide how naked to get in it. I guess her response was "crack and sideboob".Agent work goes heavily into this. She’s an actress that will want to work afterwards. Source : Friends partner was involved in True Blood for multiple seasons. This shit happens. Not claiming it DID happen with Maisie Williams on GoT
Fair play to Grey Worm, manages to nab the hottest woman in the show without having a dick, dudes got game.I think we can all agree that another Missandei sex scene would've been the better approach.
Isn't that the point? She's always been portrayed as a child in this showArya’s been a trained child assassin for several seasons now who literally slits people’s throats and feeds people their offspring in pies but god forbid she gets her end away.
Considering I don’t know (or care) what D&D means, tells you my level of effort in my suggestion. It definitely didn't. It was really weird to watch. I get that she's 18 in it or whatever and wants to get dicked before she dies but we really didn't need to see any of it actually happening.
Yeah and people are more bothered about the shagging than the killing.Isn't that the point? She's always been portrayed as a child in this show
The showrunners.Considering I don’t know (or care) what D&D means, tells you my level of effort in my suggestion.
The point is irrelevant here seemingly. Post remains valid as a point though.
Nobody has a problem with her banging Gendry, it's watching her do it (half naked) that's the problem.Yeah and people are more bothered about the shagging than the killing.
Bloody weirdos.
Why? You didn’t mind seeing her stab someone in the eyes?Nobody has a problem with her banging Gendry, it's watching her do it (half naked) that's the problem.
There's a huge difference... everyone knows she's not actually killing people/stabbing people in the eye, but she is actually getting half naked (I guess it might have been a body double - but that's not what you think whenWhy? You didn’t mind seeing her stab someone in the eyes?
It wasn't a body double, assuming she's truthful in her interviews. There's a huge difference... everyone knows she's not actually killing people/stabbing people in the eye, but she is actually getting half naked (I guess it might have been a body double - but that's not what you think when
Maisie Williams is 22 - Emilia Clarke was 24 when she got naked in S1 and the collective internet lost the plot... The only difference here is that you still think of Arya as a little kid, but she's a grown woman on the set of a series, it's not that special or awkward imo. There's a huge difference... everyone knows she's not actually killing people/stabbing people in the eye, but she is actually getting half naked (I guess it might have been a body double - but that's not what you think when
And that the show portrays her as a kid. (until this episode at least)Maisie Williams is 22 - Emilia Clarke was 24 when she got naked in S1 and the collective internet lost the plot... She's supposed to be 18 years old right now though...And that the show portrays her as a kid.
Yeah because that's the same thingWhy? You didn’t mind seeing her stab someone in the eyes?
Possible Jon & Danny resolution...
In the big battle, something happens where Jon is overwhelmed by a load of wights and the night king, Danny has no option but to get Drogon to burn them all. The dust clears and all that is left is a naked and undamaged Jon. Danny sees that he is a true Targ and they live happily ever after as king and queen.
Am I the only one that wished they showed Arya fully naked? She could be 30 years old, still doesn't mean she doesn't look like a child, or change the fact that we've literally seen her grow up from when she was a child.
Also - as I just edited in, the show hardly portrays her as an adult in the same way that it portrays say Sansa... half of her character is people being shocked that this little girl is a stone-cold killer.
I get that (though has that been stated in the show? Not that it needs to be, just curious... has the show ever dealt with ages?) - but nobody has ever treated her as an adult, nor has she really ever acted like one either. She's basically gone from child, to child assassin... with the point being everyone being surprised/shocked that she's a child who is also an assassin. She's supposed to be 18 years old right now though...
Probably not, and there's nothing wrong with that either to be fair.Am I the only one that wished they showed Arya fully naked?
You comparing it to real pics or what? There’s no way that was Maisie Williams body when Arya unclothed. It looked very CGI-ey, to me, particularly the side boob shot.
The point that agents work angles for clients is not a valid point? The showrunners.
Aaaaand, it doesn't.
The audience is seemingly fine with Arya acting like an adult in SOME ways (eg murder), but anything approaching sexualisation of Arya is utterly unacceptable, apparently. If you personally take issue with seeing the actress half naked because, to you, she looks like a kid/has been on the show as a kid, that’s fine. Everyone has their opinions. I don’t get it but whatever.Yeah because that's the same thing
How dare I be uncomfortable at seeing her naked. Shame on me. I should have my eyes held open so I have to look at her.
Too soon. We were expecting her to get banged season 10 but that's not happening so...But if you don’t think the character of Arya should be having sex in the show, that’s bonkers.
Nobody is saying that, read the last few posts. I literally said I have no issue with her having sex.The audience is seemingly fine with Arya acting like an adult in SOME ways (eg murder), but anything approaching sexualisation of Arya is utterly unacceptable, apparently. Yeah but.. what's the point of it being in here if it has nothing to do with her and GoT, then? The point that agents work angles for clients is not a valid point?
Of course it is.
I didn’t say that it was applicable to williams in GoT but of course it’s valid.
Hard, I assume...If it was weird for us, imagine how the actor playing Gendry must have felt.
Yeah, good luck with thatThis is feckin weird lads. Can we get back to the TV show.
Because it was suggested to be a cause.Yeah but.. what's the point of it being in here if it has nothing to do with her and GoT, then?
