Their bubble will crash this year. I hope.
Keep their name out your fecking mouth, PogueIn Klopp’s seventh season with Dortmund they flirted with the relegation places before they eventually clawed their way back to a seventh place finish. They won just one of six matches against the three best teams in the league.
This is his seventh season at Liverpool and things are not going well so far. To put it mildly.
Is this just a blip and they’ll be neck and neck in a battle for first place again very soon?
Or are in they facing the same grim struggle for European football that Dortmund went through in 2014/15?
Can we close this utterly ridiculous thread now? Tabloid stuff.
Just to be clear. Jumping to assumptions that they’re in trouble after 3 poor performances is stupid but jumping to assumptions that they’re not in trouble after a very good 45 minutes is ok?This thread
Feck sakes Pogue why'd you have to make this thread yet. Way to jinx it.In Klopp’s seventh season with Dortmund they flirted with the relegation places before they eventually clawed their way back to a seventh place finish. Fabinho was the most no-brainer signing in the history of no-brainer signings but we didn't even have a go at it. Let them get him instead. Double OG.They beat us from the point Fabinho came on last time out. Fabinho starts today and they’re fine. Fabinho is the key.
Yeah, it's a cringe thread mateJust to be clear. Jumping to assumptions that they’re in trouble after 3 poor performances is stupid but jumping to assumptions that they’re not in trouble after a very good 45 minutes is ok?
I’m not your mate.Yeah, it's a cringe thread mate
OkayI’m not your mate.
I think it’s more based on their form over the past five seasons, with most of those players still around their prime years.Just to be clear. Jumping to assumptions that they’re in trouble after 3 poor performances is stupid but jumping to assumptions that they’re not in trouble after a very good 45 minutes is ok?
I don’t even think they are in trouble tbh. Was more asking the question than making a statement. I still think something’s not quite right. They’ve needed a big contribution from Milner over the last few years and if he finally hits the wall that willl make life difficult. Plus the doubts over Nunez as an adequate replacement for Mane and VVD maybe having a bit of a dip.I think it’s more based on their form over the past five seasons, with most of those players still around their prime years.
Careful, you'll upset my best pal Pogue Mahone5-0 at half time ….yeah they’ll struggle this season
panic my arse
Nah I get your train of thought. Things can go out of kilter at clubs sometimes for various reasons. But I think on the balance of things they will be okay and probably finish comfortably in the top four.I don’t even think they are in trouble tbh. Obviously will need a much bigger sample of games to draw any conclusions.
"Jose was right"Fabinho was the most no-brainer signing in the history of no-brainer signings but we didn't even have a go at it. Let them get him instead. Double OG.
Ooo really scaredCareful, you'll upset my best pal Pogue Mahone
They weren't even that bad against us, arguably the better team. As soon as their injuries clear up they'll be title challengers again.Just to be clear. If you like losing arguments, then yeah, they were arguably the better team. They weren't even that bad against us, arguably the better team. As soon as their injuries clear up they'll be title challengers again.
Matic was PL proven, you can't put a price on that.Fabinho was the most no-brainer signing in the history of no-brainer signings but we didn't even have a go at it. Let them get him instead. Double OG.
Exactly. Nothing much to see here.It would have been interesting if they had another tough game this week, rather than a walkover against possibly one of the worst teams to ever play in the league.
