Yep. Bangladesh. Not sure why I typed SL.

And I know the RR gap is huge, that's why I specified points..

NZ are almost certainly through.. England are the ones in real danger of missing out..
But top spot is still up for grabs..
Specifying points was ... pointless since Bangla or Pak can't overtake NZ. But yeah most likely scenario now is either Pak or Bangla making it at expense of England if they fail to win both of their matches.

Afghanistan would do well to reach 200 here.

I know they're still a relatively new ODI team, so we shouldn't expect too much but the Afghanis really haven't helped themselves with the messy way they've entered this tournament.

Just a complete shambles behind the scenes.

Meanwhile NZ have CdG as their opening bowler.

Have they covered the second pitch with a carpet in the Aus-NZ match?

Is that common? Surely that affects the fielders in that position.. looks weird.

Shinwari you idiot. Doesn't take the run of the last ball to keep the strike. Stupidity at the highest order.

Ok score... their spinners could make it interesting but Pakistan should be able to chase this down.

Pakistan will chase this easily but not a bad effort by Afghanistan actually.

Smith could have held this together, but I can see a full blown collapse from Aus now

Constantly at the STD clinic.
Honestly India deserves praise for investing in Afghan cricket but there wouldnt be any Afghan cricket if there was no Pakistan. In their early days all if not most of these cricketers learned their trade in and around Peshawar. Most of the players speak Pashto in a Pakistani accent as well.

A lot of them are direct products of the Pakistan domestic system.

I think both India and Pakistan should take pride in helping out Afghanistan.

Lockie Ferguson has been super impressive this tournament. Seen him only in the IPL and he looked a pace merchant, his bowling this tournament has been terrific.
