Only caught the last 15mins but Athletic putting a lot of pressure on
La Real coped very well, it has to be said! A lot better than their usual away performance this season, arguably had more control over the game with 10 men than they did with 11.

Their equaliser was outstanding too, De la Bella with a great run in behind and an exquisite finish, but that assist from Rubén Pardo was just of the highest order

Ohh interesting. Going to have to watch the highlights when they're uploaded on YouTube.

This'll warrant a new thread if confirmed, but strong rumours from Spanish radio stations that Atlético and Real Madrid are about to be hit with transfer bans...

That could be important news for United with the DDG situation. They may want to rush it through before the ban. They'd need a #1 keeper and back up in place before the ban goes into effect.

Yeah they'll have this summer to sort out summers assuming they appeal. So probably bye bye de Gea. Could mean you get a chance to fleece them though.

They'll appeal and buy everyone in sight this summer.

I'm all for banning those cnuts, but what are the odds that the 3 top Spanish teams made the same mistake?

Maybe there are/were some rules in the Spanish FA that allowed clubs to sign minors(or whatever the feck they did), but from FIFA's point of view those are bannable offenses?

What are they suspecting these bans are for? Same as what Barca did, or something different?

Right now there's no time for an appeal before the summer, so whatever ban they get it will be postponed until next window. According to spanish media atlético are getting a two window ban, while madrid ban is not decided yet.

The spanish FA rules contradict those from FIFA, to the point they were also fined when Barcelona got the transfer ban.

Basically the spanish FA didn't say shit or oppose to any of the transfers. Also, the FIFA rules, while very clear, are supposed to avoid child commerce and slavery, which was obviously not the case of these clubs, so maybe that's why they didn't think much about it.

No details, but Barcelona was signing the kids directly (I think in the end it was 5 total that were wrongly signed) while madrid is suspected to use nearby small local teams to do the signings and then transfer the kids to real, disguised as some sort of development cooperation agreement. This way they 'tricked' the system and said they were doing nothing wrong. Atlético I don't know.

All this speculation from recent news.

Brilliant performance from Barca (in the 1st half)

A draw at San Mames is a good result (especially with 10 men) but the many draws must go over in more wins next season for Moyes and his team.
Will be interesting to see what Moyes will do on the transfer market in the summer.

The “One Club Man Award” from Athletic Bilbao is a fantastic idea :)

So they'd be looking at signing players summer 2015 and winter 2016 being banned winter 2015 and summer 2016. DDG contract expiring summer 2016 during their ban.

Barca, Atletico, Real all getting transfer bans. Perfect time for Valencia to make a title bid in two seasons time.

Still deciding
For the first time in this century, 4 players (Messi, Neymar, Suarez and Xavi) have scored and assisted in a La Liga match.

Barcelona's strike force has become their most successful front trio of all time as Messi (49), Neymar (32) and Suarez (21) took their combined total to 102 goals. And that was with suarez missing the first 9 games too. Ridiculous

Ødegaard is on the bench for Real tonight, the Norwegian media is going nuts at the moment.

Fingers crossed they can get a few early goals & give him 20 minutes or so. May not get any other opportunity to do so this season with the title race so close & other players returning soon.

They'll still win but Real Madrid's line-up looks pretty weak to me. Keylor Navas, Arbeloa, Coentrão, Illarramendi, Jesé and Chicharito start from the fringe players.

Cristiano misses Sevilla away if he gets a yellow tonight by the way.

Hernandez sounds like he's had a good 10mins, set Ronaldo up twice apparently.
I've only been half watching to be honest but yeah he had a nice flick to send Cristiano through. Don't remember the other moment though.
