For the majority of the season he's been solid defensively and not many have got the better of him in a 1v1 situation.

However, he is so, so poor in attack, his crossing technique just looks bang average. Which is quite strange as his passing is actually very good for a LB, like the ball he played to Lukaku vs Chelsea. It's a real shame because he could be one of our main attacking threats if he sorted out his crossing and stamina.

Hes lower on the list because hes alright, but hes just not talented enough really to ever be "set" at left back with him. Like if we achieve success in the next 5 years and have a "complete" team, he wont be a starter for that. Right back, centerback, CM, right wing are all the priorities, but it's not like left wing, left back and striker are "sorted" positions. Just less drastic need.

Second time this season he screwed up a relatively simple ball and United concede from a counter attack after an own corner. I don't feel comfortable when both CBs are moved up for the corner and he is left as last man defending. Ok if United desperately need to score I understand that the best defenders are often the best in the air, but yesterday it was 1-0 at the corner, no need to take chances.
