Yaaas Broncos!
And I'm wondering what difference it makes? It was a genuine question
There must be a reason you're asking; the suggestion seems to be that this case is more deserving of infinite funding because it's high profile/weird.
And I'm wondering what difference it makes? It was a genuine question
Both are Roman Catholics, and while the Freemasons do have catholic members nowadays it is highly unlikely any are 'high ranking'.They've been granted another £150K for the investigation.
There's something very strange about this case. There are theories of the parents being predators and that Madeleine was bought before she was born and then raised to a certain age before being exchanged.
Aren't the parents high ranking Freemasons too? and have links to powerful people?
The weirdness of it and lack of explanation to me justifies it being high profile, and if the family and investigators keep getting told “yes” when they ask for more money then all the power to them. As morbid as it seems, the strangeness of a case and the profile of it is a justifiable reason in my eyes for why it receives funding and others don’t.And I'm wondering what difference it makes?

Wtf. Why not continue to throw out other theories since the facts don’t seem to matter anymoreI agree his theory is pretty rubbish.
The truth seems to be she somehow died in the apartment and they covered it up.
This never ending search and not letting it rest is a sign of their guilt IMO.
So the people whose missing children didn't capture the imagination of the country can just lump it?The weirdness of it and lack of explanation to me justifies it being high profile, and if the family and investigators keep getting told “yes” when they ask for more money then all the power to them. Do you genuinely believe that they sold their daughter as a sex slave?I don’t use Facebook, it’s just a common theory I’ve come across over the years.. like the 9/11 theories, Sandy Hook and so on.
If I remember correctly there is factual information that 2 high profile billionaire paedophiles were in the local area at the time.
The parents of Madeleine are also good friends with a guy called Freud, he is allegedly a well known paedophile that owned a villa 1/3 a mile from the area and was being used by the said 2 billionaire brothers at the time.
Quite the assumption you’re making thereSo the people whose missing children didn't capture the imagination of the country can just lump it?
The case being funded more and more is ridiculous.
That's the same nonsensical response you gave Pexbo. It's literally the only interpretation of what you're saying.Quite the assumption you’re making there
So why did you seek any clarification from me?That's the same nonsensical response you gave Pexbo. It's literally the only interpretation of what you're saying.
You think it being high profile justifies the continued funding whilst other cases don't get the same.
Your clarification cemented the point, the question was to give you the opportunity to explain yourself better on the off chance you hadn't made it properly. So why did you seek any clarification from me?
In my mind it’s justified and it makes sense as to why it keeps getting funded over other things.Your clarification cemented the point, the question was to give you the opportunity to explain yourself better on the off chance you hadn't made it properly.
Can you detail your justification? In my mind it’s justified and it makes sense as to why it keeps getting funded over other things.
Yep if they were really innocent they would have quickly put out a statement asking for everyone to stop searching for their daughter, requesting the police to end the investigation as soon as possible and offering a reward for any eyewitnesses to stay away. That would be much less suspicious.I agree his theory is pretty rubbish.
The truth seems to be she somehow died in the apartment and they covered it up.
This never ending search and not letting it rest is a sign of their guilt IMO.
Which means you think the less high profile ones are less deserving, but when that's pointed out you start going on about assumptions. In my mind it’s justified and it makes sense as to why it keeps getting funded over other things.
Depends on the recent missing person case and how much additional resources it needs to reach a conclusion. So to clarify @Arbitrium, you do think there is more justification in giving the McCann case money over a more recent missing persons case?
Is that happening? Are there other missing children cases which legitimately need more funding that are being turned down because of all the money spent on this investigation? I doubt it.What about all the kids who have gone missing in the UK whose investigations aren't going to get the resources because the McCann investigation takes the money?
Almost invariably, the new cases have a higher chance of being solved.Depends on the recent missing person case and how much additional resources it needs to reach a conclusion.
How many children are abducted a year?Sorry to say it but the girl is long gone, if they want more funding they should put the money up themselves.
It's honestly disgusting that they've been given almost £12m since her disappearance given how many children go missing every day ffs.
That's outrageously stupid logic.I agree his theory is pretty rubbish.
The truth seems to be she somehow died in the apartment and they covered it up.
This never ending search and not letting it rest is a sign of their guilt IMO.
And dedicated personnel trying to solve them.Almost invariably, the new cases have a higher chance of being solved.
Absolutely.That's outrageously stupid logic.
If you were guilty, the last thing you would possibly want is it keep bein brought up. You'd want it to fade away as soon as possible.
Abduction is hard to pin point an exact number since you need clear proof of abduction, otherwise it's classed as a missing person but, 100s of people go missing every day.How many children are abducted a year?
For a reason. And dedicated personnel trying to solve them.
What price would you put on trying to find out what happened if it was your kid out of interest? My deepest sympathies to them but the investigation shouldn't get another penny. It's disgusting how much it has had already in comparison to many other similar cases.
If the McCanns want to they can continue with private detectives. I'm sure they would receive plenty of cash if they set up a GoFund me page. (If they haven't already)
Educate us.It’s almost as if some people haven’t quite grasped the unique circumstances of this case.
I bet those same people wouldn’t bat an eye lid at the amount of money spent trying to solve the D.B. cooper case.
That is the opposite of logical.I agree his theory is pretty rubbish.
The truth seems to be she somehow died in the apartment and they covered it up.
This never ending search and not letting it rest is a sign of their guilt IMO.

You seem to have eased on what sounds like tonnes of children in your first post, to suddenly there's no number on it, and now it's "people", not children.Abduction is hard to pin point an exact number since you need clear proof of abduction, otherwise it's classed as a missing person but, 100s of people go missing every day.
Care to summarise briefly this evidence?I’ve listened to several true crime podcasts on the case and they all concluded that the evidence available points towards the parents being involved, and listening to them it’s hard to disagree with what we know.
Aye, 100s go missing every day and they still have people working on them.Abduction is hard to pin point an exact number since you need clear proof of abduction, otherwise it's classed as a missing person but, 100s of people go missing every day.
Well it’s known as the most baffling missing person case in modern history. Don’t really have to go into detail.Educate us.
The same number of podcasts promote flat earth theory and other conspiracy theory nonsense. People who listen often find them hard to disagree with.I’ve listened to several true crime podcasts on the case and they all concluded that the evidence available points towards the parents being involved, and listening to them it’s hard to disagree with what we know.
Figured as much.Aye, 100s go missing every day and they still have people working on them.
Well it’s known as the most baffling missing person case in modern history. Don’t really have to go into detail.
So curiosity is a deciding factor?Aye, 100s go missing every day and they still have people working on them.
