It's a strange one. Apparently it's a monument to a Ukrainian SS division, put up by the local Ukrainian community. It would likely be more representative of the fight against Soviet oppression than Nazi ideology.Wait....there's an actual monument for a fecking SS division.....in Canada??????
That is a real tortuous path right there! It's a strange one. Apparently it's a monument to a Ukrainian SS division, put up by the local Ukrainian community. It would likely be more representative of the fight against Soviet oppression than Nazi ideology.

Love the so-called urgency of the police. Hope these grifters are happy with their performance.

I was in the same boat so can't give you an overview I'm afraid. So ill be honest guys. After burning myself out a bit following the protests non-stop for the first 2-3 weeks I sort of took a step back due to various factors. Can anyone give a really high level overview of what has happened in the last ~month regarding the protests? Have they fizzled out a little or still going strong?

They haven't fizzled out, they are just peaceful so the media doesn't report on them anymore. This is the same thing that happened 6 years ago, 4 years ago, 2 years etc.So ill be honest guys. Wow. So glad we live in a time that we can watch video of what happened rather than just take the cops word for what happened. Those cops are well out of control, yet again.Tweet

I was just about to post this. I’m so happy they are factually able to prove his connections. Will go a long way in the fight.Umbrella man has been identified. 1 guess as to his political leanings.
You finally got there in the end, well done.It isn't the full video though. I wonder if there's body cam video of the kneeling and the actual death.
Floyd was definitely under heavy influence of narcotics and resistive from the get-go. The initial officers did try to accommodate him as much as they could (without jeopardizing their safety and effecting an arrest). You can hear Floyd saying he wanted to lie on the ground, and they did while waiting for paramedics. But they should've sat him up on the curb if he was not resisting. I think they have a slight chance of getting charges dismissed. Their main fault was not intervening and stopping Chauvin from continually kneeling on Floyd's neck.

I cant believe what I've read. I might always try to look from the other side most of the times but it's clear as day in Floyd's case it's a cold blooded manslaughter at worst. Those cops are animals, even animals have heart man.It isn't the full video though. I wonder if there's body cam video of the kneeling and the actual death.

I don’t disagree but it’s up to the court system now to determine if the primary officers (not Chauvin) were cold blooded murders and just as culpable as Chauvin. Which is why the full bodycam video should be seen if available.I cant believe what I've read. 8 minutes is a looong time you'd be bored sitting on a chair watching porn let alone kneeling on someone's neck with everyone watching and telling him to stop.
If that's not murder than i dont know what is murder.
I mean come on man. I know you're a cop but come on
