But he's shite. No talent. A wimp. Never good enough.

What a surprise

Some people never learn. Next player we bring in who has a tough game or 5 will be written off in the same way.

He's very good on the Ball, i would say our best defender in that department.

His first half is the best by any of our defenders this season. Not a single mistake. Superb in everything he does.

I really like him and Rojo in a back back 3. Both a bit rash but always seem to be there to cover one another.

His best half for us by a mile. Had some really nice moments on the ball - starting to actually look like the ball playing centre back we were promised.

He's been great tonight and has actually been good for a while but I guess it doesn't mean anything because we already had to write him off a few months ago and it's pointless too give him time.

Yeah, if Zlatan will not score for 2-3 more games, even if he was injured, he'd suddenly become shite. It's amazing what idiotic stuff comes out of people's minds sometimes.

Rojo has more or less worked the rashness out of his game. Lindelof is a confidence player, so this game should do him good. With this form, he starts in all our big games.

Shaky since people started praising him. Quick someone slate him before the second half starts!

Really impressive display so far, winning every ball he goes for and intercepting anything that comes his way. Hope this form continues in to the second half, so far he's been very good indeed.

I thought he was decent on Saturday and been very good tonight. Hopefully he's settling. The tackle he put in on Saturday could be the beginning for him.

Got a feeling we'll look back at this thread in the future and a lot of people are going to look like right pillocks.

Looks inventive, which is something — at least he stands out not only by his mistakes. Hopefully he'll stay that way and gets rid of the mistakes in the future

Very good, contained what attacking threat they’ve been

Still early days though

The thing with Lindelof is that he is really suited to play in a back-three. He is great on the ball, really aggressiv and is very suited to have the kind of area he gets when hes allowed to almost play as a defensive midfielder/right back.

Against top-teams in a back-four, he gets restricted, needs to be less aggressiv, doesnt have the ball as much, and obviously not as suited.

Loved the first half, looked good both defensively and on the ball. Looked lot more confident too. More of the same please.

Cue criticism - because he is playing quite well - but there is an inescapable reality in that he is very poor 1 vs 1.

Richarlison beat him comfortably at the back end of that half and it's been the case on many occasions this season already. It's an area that our other options really excel at and he pales by comparison.
