Look if we are good enough to win the Carling Cup, we are good enough to win the FA Cup....most of the other 17 teams have no chance

Given United's more difficult run-in we must be at least a 50% chance and in my view a 60% chance

These are just my opinions

The fact yours are different is hardly surprising

I would give the odds as follows

Carling Cup - 95%
Premiership - 60%
FA Cup - 33.33%
CL - 10%
According to these odds there was only a 1.2% chance Arsenal would end the season trophy-less. I guess they got unlucky.

I love Gillespie. A shame we probably won't see him again for a while now.

Thrown the towel in and the toys out again Jo?

Really mate it's fking tragic, that you and how many others cannot get this.

You think I'm throwing in the towel :houllier:

You think we, under Wenger, have not already thrown in the towel then?!

For me this is really bizarre. There are thousands of you actually thinking that under this man - it works

Fkme - in God's name how does 'it work' under Wenger ?? how exactly :nervous:

Is this it then Pete ? - if I go down to Colney accompanied by a 22 technically accomplished but mentally fragile footballers one of which is the worst goalkeeper in the history of PL football and I keep giving them contract after contract year after year after fking year and it produces absolutely nothing in respect of what is achievable in the eyes of all football fans and pundits and it is all because I am incapable of instilling any bottle into them (because actually I dont have any)- you think I'm a hero and a legend !

Is that it then Pete? Have I got it right ?

So I can now carry on doing the same for another ten years years can I ?

When the fk are our supporters going to learn from this

He cannot do it

Has not been able to do it for the last 5 years and will never ever do it.

Half our supporters have became brain dead cretins - they really have. The other half have already worked it out, taken them some time mind, but they've finally got it

This is a lie. I have video evidence:

He clearly has a bottle but he throws it away voluntarily!

Arsenal has been a very decent team... but a tad unlucky... no one would want to see his team crumble down like Arsenal did in that 2 weeks time... they deserve respect for seriously having given a go in all fronts...

Now is our time not to do the same mistakes :keano:

You would have got close to 100/1 at Gillespie's for Arsenal finishing trophyless. Looks like value now, doesn't it?

I would give the odds as follows

Carling Cup - 95%
Premiership - 60%
FA Cup - 33.33%
CL - 10%

Meaning a 2% chance or 50/1 against

The bookies will probably only offer 33/1

he said chelsea would beat united by exactly 5 points, as he had "done the maths".

This was around the turn of the year actually, about the time of that brilliant parody about drogba claiming to be better than jesus.

The difference is that essien really said the calculations shit.
michael essien also made it clear what he thought of united.

"we are much better than manchester united," said the ghana international.

"it is just a matter of days before we are the leaders. I have done the calculations and we will finish at least five points clear of united at the top of the table."

Back then it was 2% to win the Quadruple, now it's 2% to win anything, and that still sounds too short for my liking :D
