OT was buzzing with him finally sticking it in the net. He is very likeable but missing too many key attributes for us. Might be useful as backup after this season but we’d have to change our game a lot when he steps in for a quality striker.
Your 18 year old will complain about playing time and request a transfer.This.
I tend to agree somewhat, but on the other hand by now I really do trust ETH. Unlike we armchair pundits and managers, he picks a team, with the emphasis on TEAM. He must feel that WW contributes something or multiple things that are valuable to the team. And with one or two notable exceptions we the team are playing really good football, and winning while we’re doing it. I think the team looks happy and together, too. It’s working. I agree that with one or two additions over the summer- including a top striker- we could be serious contenders. I believe that in this manager we have at last found the man to take us there. So I for one will trust him.He is nowhere near good enough, we shouldn't sign him in the summer just because he loves playing for the club and gives his all. We are playing fantastic football under ETH and with a proper striker we would be unstoppable. We need to buy a fast clinical finisher in the summer and use youth, buy a young 18 year hot prospect as back up.
Amazing week for him with Liverpools win on Sunday and scoring tonight. Cloud nine. You’d have to have a heart of stone not to be absolutely delighted for him tonight.
did have to chuckleAmazing week for him with Liverpools win on Sunday and scoring tonight. Cloud nine.
I really like Weghorst, but that's funny shit.Amazing week for him with Liverpools win on Sunday and scoring tonight. Cloud nine.
Maybe him scoring half of the big chances he gets? tonight was like watching a fail compilation. Missed chance after chance.Christ on a bike, there’s some negative nellies in here.
Had a great game, involved in the goals, scores a goal, busts a gut.
What you want?
Amazing week for him with Liverpools win on Sunday and scoring tonight. Cloud nine.
I actually like him, I think he busts his balls. Don't sign in, but a league cup and a chance to have Manchester United on his CV - maybe an FA cup and Europa would also be a nice parting gift for the work he's put in.I tend to agree somewhat, but on the other hand by now I really do trust ETH. Just a few days ago yous were calling him a traitor donkey. He's the best player in the world
Maybe this?Random question !
The slow motion shot of Wout celebrating under the falling snow reminds me of similar scene more than a decade ago.
It was Park Ji Sung and Rooney I think. In black jersey. Premier League most likely.
The snow is always romatic to me so it lingers in my mind. Can anyone tell me which game was that ??
The last striker who we brought on midseason in a similar role, Ighalo, also had the time of his life as well after being a boyhood United fan.I cheered so much when he scored that goal, and we were already in cruise control.
The announcer said it best, "have you ever seen anyone enjoy playing football as much as Weghorst at United?"
I love this comment.Really pleased for Wout. Lad has won the lottery.
There is no real point in analysing his performance, Martial can’t stay fit for longer than a week so Wout will continue to play. We can all point out his numerous flaws but what’s the point… he’s having the time of his life and busting his balls every game, go on son.
I think you're taking it a bit too seriously. Not really. It's comments like the one below that makes all the De Gea hate laughable. They want to get rid of a quality keeper but buy a shit striker when we desperately need goals. And all just for the vibes. You couldn't make this shit up.
